- JMJohn MonteagudoJun 3, 20185.0I’ve been playing golf and taking lessons my whole life but I’ve never gotten any good...until GolfTec. I gave up on Golf for a while but after ballooning to 367 lbs and having all kinds of health issues my Dr’s recommended I start Playing golf again. I’ve lost 130 pounds and my health has never been better. I’ve gone from shooting in the 100’s to shooting in the 80’s. Just got fit for a new Driver. Surprised me when the best fit was the new Ping G400 Max but I am hitting it 30 yards farther than my old driver and swing! Strongly recommend signing up and if you do get a package that includes a playing lesson ( where they take you out on a course) and a fitting. Best fitting I’ve ever had and I’m 50 years old!!!

He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the game and has helped me immensely. Golftec is a great place to practice and work on your swing. Using video to get instant feed back on what you are actually doing during the swing is a great tool.

- AMArt MolloyDec 1, 20165.0I went to Golftec for a fitting for a new set of clubs. Tim did a fantastic job with the fitting. I ended up with a set of irons (Mizuno) and Woods/hybrids (Ping). My index has dropped 3 points to 13.5 since I've had the new clubs. I am getting more driving distance and better accuracy. I will be back to Golftec when I'm ready for another set a few years from now. I have referred several friends to Golftec as a result of my experience. Great job guys!!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
