As an adult with no golf history, I had a whim to learn to golf, did some range time, hit a course, decided I needed lessons. 😆 The golftec structure has been great for me; I can really see the individual mechanics of the swing and having a visual of what I’m doing (compared to what I should be doing!) is very helpful for my progress. When I’d get discouraged (‘cause golf can be super hard) I could see actual numbers of aspects where my swing was really improving, which helped my confidence. I also must mention how GREAT Mikah has been as a coach. Communicates really well, gives me practical homework drills and always makes sure I know I CAN do this… even when I’m feeling frustrated. Of course… he’s improved my swing dramatically!

Coach Arnold Ha has been awesome in developing my swing. His teachings of the fundamentals have built a solid foundation for my game that I’m eager to continue improving on with him. The practice sessions, facility, equipment, app, and staff have been a great experience all around!
- JJJeff JacobsenSep 6, 20221.0I had my first ever club fitting with Tyler Yee June 30th, 2022. I was super excited and quite happy with my experience leaving the fitting. I hit a ton of balls and was happy with my purchase. However, everything since that moment has been a huge disappointment and at this point, I regret the purchase. During the fitting I was told that some clubs/shafts were going to take a long time for delivery. Luckily, the clubs I liked (Mizunos) were all good. Or so I was told. Ten days after my fitting I got an email from Tyler saying that my irons were being quoted 6-8 weeks for delivery! I was shocked and obviously disappointed that I would miss most of the summer with my new clubs. I figured it was just part of all the shipping problems this summer and that there was nothing that could be done. I patiently waited all eight weeks and didn't even receive an email or call updating me. I finally emailed Tyler after a full month of not hearing anything and was told that the SHAFTS were out of stock and that they hadn't even started making the clubs yet! He didn't even know that until I had waited 8 weeks for my clubs! It seems to me that it should be common practice to know what is in stock and what isn't BEFORE someone comes for a fitting. I would also expect my order to be checked on and made sure everything is done to get it completed asap. It's been over 9 weeks since my fitting and still no irons. I expected much better service when spending over $2,000 on golf clubs. Will not be returning to Golftec Redmond. UPDATE: Finally received my irons after a total of 12 weeks and many emails back and forth. And after all of that, my GW is not even the right head.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
