- BHBill HoglundJul 8, 20255.0What a joy to see My coach’s assessment of the nine holes we shared at River Bend in Lisle! It was worth every penny and one of the longest times of positive encouragement anyone has ever given me about ANYTHING! I had to stop counting fist bumps Mike shared by the third hole! And, we were paired up with three other guys, whom I feared slowing down, but they too were truly upbeat and seemed to get into the fact that Mike had good stuff to say, both positive and ‘educational.’ I feared I might slow them down or mess up their golf, but we all really seemed to enjoy each other’s company. I credit Mike for developing that ‘espree de corp’ among us. My take aways: continue to work on a purposeful practice swing that hits turf AFTER ball. Extend arms ‘up and out’ more to hit straighter shots and not hook right. (I am a lefty.) I guess I will quit babbling. If my effusiveness doesn’t convince you I’m happy with what these lessons have meant, nothing will! Oh, and another truth: I am realizing I put a helluva lot of wasted energy into negative self-talk. I doubt I can ever affirm myself as much as Mike affirms me, but if I am not so hard on myself—that will lead to more fun on the course and at the range! Previous Review: I’m a 73 year old Lefty and I am SO happy with the lessons with fellow Lefty, Mike Page. Mike is the most positive and encouraging teacher I have ever had, in any endeavor! I have learned ‘basics’ from Mike that were new to me, and with practice, his advice has shown positive results, improvement, and truly reinforced my love for the game! Yes, Golftec requires the commitment of time and dollars. But if you want to improve and better enjoy golf, you want a guy like Mike to show you the way!
- AZA ZwolDec 28, 20221.0Regional manager is unresponsive. Do not buy a large lesson package the sales pitch does not include all the details. They will take your lessons away with no repayment or warning.
- MMMichael MarrahNov 3, 20222.0Coaching was solid, but be wary of the hard sells for equipment and the time restrictions on lessons especially if you buy a large package. Regardless of what they tell you, they will cancel any remaining credits at one year with zero recourse even if there was no annual period when you purchased.
- TJTodd JasienskiDec 11, 20201.0Do not purchase clubs from here. I bought clubs which broke less than a year and a half after purchase. The fitters were completely unhelpful in getting them repaired. They refused to even attempt the repair at any cost because they do not have the resources. They are not interested in retaining customers. It is a one and done deal. In the words of their own employees, "you're better off going to club champion"

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
