We went through an extensive selection of the latest heads and a variety of shafts before zeroing in on the best one. Vance was very thorough, and explained the process well. We compared numbers with my existing setup. I highly recommend Vance... if you are looking for new clubs, he'll get you sorted out!
- MSMartin StantonSep 20, 20215.0Walter is a great coach! He is the most knowledgeable person I have met about the game of golf. He is a great teacher about the game, what the clubs are supposed to do and why they are supposed to be swung in a particular way in order to get the best performance. What I like the best is he really listens. After getting through a number of lessons on the basics of ball position, swing path, etc. He listens to the issues you are having on the course and focuses on how to fix them. He does not tell you how you must swing but works with your swing to make it as most productive as possible so you get the results you are looking to achieve the next time you play. In our last lesson he said that I have things to work on when I practice to get ready to play. Once I am out there I need to focus on playing. I will miss Walter and wish him well in all of his future endeavors.

His approach to teaching the game is effective, great for both beginners and veterans alike, and has shaved almost 10 strokes off my game in the 6 month period that I’ve been practicing there. Facilities are top notch, and contribute to a wonderful experience overall. Would highly recommend, at minimum, the 10 lesson package, and ask for Walter as your coach if he is available.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
