- DIDanny IsaacsJul 15, 20255.0Nothing but great things to say about these guys. I started playing and then stopped for 10 years before getting back into golf during COVID. My goal was to be able to keep my driver in play and break 100 when I first started seeing Sterling, and less than two years later I was able to shoot 73 in a tournament. The instructors are great, the app is unlike anything else you’ll use, and they are a great resource if you are thinking about taking your game to the next level. Don’t go expecting a simple fix. It takes time and work, but they have the best infrastructure and feedback loop for those people who are willing to put in the time. I have a digital copy of every lesson I’ve taken with them available to me via their app. And that is what separates them from everyone else out there. I gladly make the 1.5 hour drive because there isn’t anything else out there like it. I’m a visual and hands on learner and they are exactly what I need.

Finally got someone and scheduled, then he got Covid and hasn’t answered or returned my calls in over a couple more months. Such a hassle getting these people to give you the time of day. I finally got in the car and drove 20 minutes to walk in and schedule something and there was no one at the desk. One of the instructors came out and said they couldn’t schedule but to leave my information and someone would get in touch. Take a guess on whether I heard from anyone or not.. I’ll have to wait until I move cities at some point to redeem my golf Tec gift dollars I guess. It’s five lessons worth!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
