Brian was great through two and half hour club fitting. We made it through that marathon and made decisions on the full bag, Wedges-Driver. Callaway Driver and 3wood Ping - 3 hybrid Mizuno - P-4i Vokey wedges - (49, 55, 60) All ordered with Golf Pride MMC white/black Grips with a double wraps. Driver/3wood came in correct outside of the missing club adjustment tool. -(they gave me a used taylormade tool) 3 Hybrid came with the incorrect grip and honestly looked like demo shaft/grip. -(I brought this club back for them to fix and they regripped it with the wrong color and did not double wrap the tape) -I questioned the grip color and double wrapping once I picked up the hybrid and they proceeded to tell me it was double wrapped when I could feel a clear difference between grips. (There was zero urgency to right this wrong) Irons came in with the wrong color grips. Wedge grips were correct but delivered as 50,56,60 degrees and was told they bent the 50 and 56 down a degree. Wrong grip colors are not the end of the world but when you’re spending over $3K I’d expect, at the very least to get what I ordered. The lack of ownership makes me question the fact that they bent the wedges down or not.. I’m disappointed I sent my business to GolfTec.

I am a mid-80s golfer. I haven't taken many lessons because I prefer to just play. My wife signed me up for an initial lesson as a birthday present. $125 for 60-90 minutes of discussion and walking me through my swing compared to a pro golfer. I only swung the club maybe 15-20 times as most of the initial meeting was framing goals, and seeing the technology rather than an actual swing lesson. The technology is pretty cool, and the setup inside is great. What I didn't expect was that the initial "lesson" was a setup for a sales pitch to lock me into a long-term package ranging from ~$1,000 to over $4,000 for 3-12 months. But wait! If you sign-up now, they will waive the initial $125...or you can wait until the sale on Thursday... I was pretty turned off by the sales-y approach - felt like I was buying a car. I was hoping for 1-2 lessons per month when I am actively playing to provide me with things to work on at the range or on the course. I was told that was not an option. This just isn't their business model.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.

Are your lessons expensive?

Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
