- CGChristopher GAug 27, 20245.0I have been a GolfTec Irvine student for 2 years now and moving into my 3rd year. My game was 80-85 at Strawberry Farms(SF)(from Blue Tees) when I got back into golf during Covid. I stopped playing for about 11 years given the birth of my two daughters. I wanted to change my swing so I could be lower my scores and be consistent every time I go out..... Well... I have made it as low as a 1.2 GHIN handicap this year...at SF from the Blue Tees which includes a bunch of low scores AND a 68(3 under par...) I now play the Black Tees(back tees) and am averaging 78.... GolfTec Irvine is where it is at, PERIOD!!! My goal over the next year is shoot 71 or 72 average scores which will compute to a +1 GHIN Handicap from the Black Tees at SF which is graded as 73 Par from the USGA👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

He communicates clearly and really cares about helping improve my game. He provides great analysis during the lesson which you can also review later in the app, as well as drills to take to the driving range to help you improve. I went into these lessons scoring around 103 consistently and now I am scoring 90-92 on average and on my way to the 80s. Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
