- AWAlec WinstonSep 25, 20255.0Decided to switch things up from my usual spots like Golf Galaxy or PGA Superstore and came here instead to get fit for a new club. I was in the market for a driver and wanted to feel confident in the investment. After browsing around I liked the look of how data driven and personalized the reviews I read about GolfTec were. In the end, I couldn’t be happier with how the process went and the final result. I booked a time online and worked with Jack K for my fitting. He walked me through plenty of options and combinations to test and compare, and I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up purchasing a driver that wasn’t even on my radar but clearly delivered the best results. Jack made the session easy and enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time I’m looking to get fit for a new club in the bag!
- WSWill SSep 22, 20255.0I took lessons with Jon Bellotti and he’s fantastic, I cannot recommend him as a coach enough. This year was my first full season playing and first time taking lessons. I started as total novice just taking up the game and shooting in the 120s. There was clearly a lot to work on but Jon was patient, clear, and set out a path for how I could get to where I wanted. He was able to help me make vast improvements in all areas of my game and get me from shooting in the 120s and barely able to make contact, to shooting a personal best 100 recently. While I am still trying to reach my main goal of breaking 100, I know I am well on my way and Jon (and Golftec) are 100% the main reason for that. Aside from that, the location and bays are well kept and all of the other staff I’ve interacted with were always very nice and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Jon and Golftec to anyone looking to improve their game.

Austin has this way of connecting and genuinely helping with each complexity of the golf swing. He does a great job of tailoring tips and feels in a personal way that is easy to understand and implement drills to improve. The golf swing is different to each individual and he has been patient, determined and kind to help me truly improve - I have gone in one summer from a 21 hdcp to a 13 and looking to drop down to single digits next year. You do not just feel like just another client to him - going from putting Golftec in your calendar to Austin lesson is when you realize you have built something really cool. I know he does this for his other students because I see and hear it when I stop in for practice. He genuinely cares about your tangible improvement as does the rest of the staff at Halsted Row. I will continue to keep my game plans in order to reach my goals and I have zero doubt I will get there with Austin's help. I could not recommend him specifically or any other coach at Golftec Halsted Row. They should be commended on the great environment they have built for clients trying to improve at such a difficult game.

He is very thoughtful and well prepared; you get a lot of your time with him. He speaks in terms that are easily digestible and is very patient. - MRMichael RooneySep 11, 20255.0I have recently picked up interest in golf in the last few years and needless to say my game needed a lot of work… I was introduced to Cody Temper by a client of mine and inside of 9 months he cut my handicap in half. It’s been a profound change. I now absolutely love the game and make a point to get out at least once a week. As an added bonus Cody will come out on the course to work on things that can’t be worked on in the bays. Adding to that benefit, I’ve been having him tag along when I bring clients and prospects out on the course and he is happy to help them with their game during the round. Game changer! The sales I’ve landed and relationships built from prospects meeting Cody and learning a few easy tips on their swing has paid for the lessons! The facilities are great and it’s easy to get in practice when the weather is bad. I’d highly recommend giving lessons at the Halsted Row location a try. At the very least go in for a free club fitting. Thanks for everything Cody. You’ve outdone my expectations.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
