If you are at all serious about Golf this place is an absolute must. I am blown away at what I learned just from the initial swing evaluation, and the fact that you get recorded videos and notes to review and drills for at home is just insane to me for the value. Jason has a magificent golf mind, I can't wait to do lessons when the schedule allows! 12/10 experience!!

Tripp and I have been working on my golf game for almost 2 years and I have nothing but nice things to say about him. He has been very patient with my learning and I am much better golfer and enjoy the game because of him. I recommend anyone getting into game of golf to take lessons from Golftech. Bad habits take time to improve and my bad habits with golf is starting fade away slowly that is not to say I still have work to do and need his guidance and expertise. Thank you Tripp for being a great instructor.

Nice instructors but I spent close to $1000 but I am not any better than I was prior to going to Golftec. If anything my driver is worse. The only thing that has gotten better is my short game. 9-wedges.

I was on the fence about dropping some serious money on golf lessons, but I knew that I not only needed lessons but also needed to follow some sort of program. Ultimately it is well worth the cost. My coach Kevin D. is great. Kevin developed a plan and we worked through a lot of different swing issues. We even did a playing lesson out on the course. I love being able to come in and practice indoors when it is cold/hot outside. I have dropped 2 points off my handicap with the 15 lessons that I took. Looking forward to dropping it some more. Overall I would 100% do it again and I plan on extending my plan out when it's time. If you decide to go this route, you need to put the practice in, if you do not you will have wasted your money. You need to take what you learned in your lesson and practice it and get ready to focus on another topic at your next lesson. Thinking of cost, it is roughly the same as going to any legit PGA level golf instructor. The difference is that you have to pay it all up front at GolfTec. But the added benefit is that you get to come in and practice, using all the technology/equipment, and you do not have to pay for range balls. Final thought, I dropped some money on new golf clubs a year prior to starting at GolfTec. I wish I had taken that money and used it on these lessons first. I would have been much further along than I am now. It's funny that people will spend a bunch of money on equipment and then complain how bad they suck at golf. But they don't want to spend the money on lessons so they can use their shine expensive golf equipment. Just go and do it.

Frequently Asked Questions About GOLFTEC Glen Allen

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.

Are your lessons expensive?

Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
