He brought a ton of knowledge to the table but let ME lead the fitting with how the clubs felt in MY hands. He listened to my feedback and then made some suggestions based on what I had to say. They have every main brand of club out there and I tried them all. Jack also helped make sense of all the numbers and what they meant for my swing. There was no pushy sales agenda and I left feeling that I had made the best decision based on my game. I will be returning to Jack with any club purchases in the future!
- JPJ PJan 9, 20245.0I signed up for a lesson package with Jack at this location in spring 2023 -- improved my golf swing significantly, highly recommended. He's friendly, easy going, and knows his stuff, so it was a fun experience learning from him. I'm a bit of a golf nerd, mostly self-taught, hcp 18-22, and read and watch tons of content on swing mechanics and improvement tips. Some of what Jack taught me ran against conventional advice, but it proved true, and I'm pretty darn thankful he pointed out certain things because I would never have figured it out on my own no matter how many youtube videos I watched. I think he did a great job individualizing advice and drills and taking into account personal swing tendencies. I gained about 10 yards on every club thanks to improving weight transfer to my lead side, which led to better contact and compression. I used to be really preoccupied with my early extension and overswing issues, but I've noticed that they improved as weight shift mechanics improved. You learn a lot too...the measurements and comparison videos are really useful and brought me a bit closer to figuring out why I don't look anything like Rory or Minjee Lee when I swing a golf club. Set aside some money (don't buy the new driver, buy lessons) and time for lessons, esp. if you're a high handicapper like me, my only regret is not having done this a few years earlier in my golf life.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
