- JFJerrold FruchtmanSep 12, 20255.0I can't recommend Rick Voegele enough! My biggest fear with getting a coach was having my swing completely torn apart, but that's not at all what happened. He worked with the swing I already have, giving me excellent instruction and simple swing thoughts that have naturally made my swing more consistent. The results speak for themselves—my index has dropped from a 22 to a 13, and I couldn't be happier with the progress. If you're looking for a coach who can help you improve without a complete overhaul, he is the one to see.

He listened carefully to my needs and offered constructive suggestions while guiding me towards ordering my new clubs. I am now anxiously awaiting my new Ping clubs!! - RARick AAug 1, 20235.0Prior to taking lessons at Golftec, I was a 12 handicap. After almost finishing my 12 lessons at Golftec, I’m down to a 8.9 and recently wrapping up a round of 73 (best score ever with no gimmes or mulligans). This is a direct correlation with linking up with Wayne. He doesn’t try and change your swing to a “model”. Rather he works with your swing but incorporates key concepts and focuses on ways for you to gain the “feel”. There’s no shortage of analogies from Wayne so I’m sure he’ll find one for you to understand what he’s trying to get you to adjust. That being said, it goes without saying that you have to commit to practicing. Don’t expect to attend lessons, never hit the range, and all of sudden your a single handicap or better. Save you and your Golftec coach time by scheduling enough practice sessions in between lessons to incorporate the changes. In summary, would highly recommend Golftec and Wayne as your coach.
- KSKen ShabinawAug 7, 20195.0I recently had a club fitting with Bryan. Very knowledgeable Pro and fitter. We ended up coming to the same conclusion around club and shaft. I knew in my head what I wanted after trying several different irons/shafts but his observation and explanation before I said anything nailed it on the head. Consequently, the club/shaft was exactly what I was going to say. Bryan is a lot of fun and loves golf. The only thing missing was more time to hang out and talk golf with him. I will be back for a driver fitting and some lessons for my son and myself.
- JCJames CalkinsJul 7, 20125.0You need to have a long term perspective in golf instruction because there are so many things that need to be correct, and you can only change one thing at a time. I have golfed more than 40 years with no lessons. I was lucky to break 100. After a year of weekly instruction (1/2 hour lessons) at the Hanover GolfTec, I had a best score of 75 and 8 handicap. It is way more fun to go to the golf course with a reasonable idea of what is going to happen when the club hits the ball. Wayne Sciscio is the primary instructor at this store and he is great.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
