- LSLogan SpurlinAug 16, 20252.0The attached photos are what I got after spending $2k at GOLFTEC. Irons were supposed to take 2 weeks. When I called them, not them calling me to update, they said it would be another 3. About a week and a half later I got a call my irons were ready. I arrived to pick up my $2k irons to find them rubber banded together, no shrink wrap on the heads, no packaging, scratches, and A BALLMARK on the face of one. Regrettably, my first reaction was to clean off the ballmark. I called to ask for an explanation and got much of the same runaround I got when calling them to check in on delivery. I don’t know if it’s Ping problem or a GOLFTEC problem, but I’m feeling less than great about doing business here.

Not only does your instructor teach you about your swing, they all work together to help you improve. The practice is invaluable; without it you will never correct what you are doing wrong and put the pros teaching into action. Golf is the most difficult and often frustrating game, but it is the greatest game of all. Without teachers (every PGA pro has them) it is very unlikely you will ever get better. I drove by their facility for 10 years, and my only regret is I didn't go there 10 years ago. Learn from the best and go to GOLFTEC.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
