- CLChris LajczokJun 18, 20255.0I’ve had an amazing experience at this location. All staff are professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I came for a swing evaluation being a new golfer with inconsistent strikes if I’m lucky and when I did hit about 30 yards on irons. Working with Mike, he took me to 160 yards on 7 iron in one 60 minute session. I signed up for lessons and after the second session was able to hit consistently centerline out to 127. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants to see improvement and understand what your ball and swing is doing for self diagnosing problems during play.
- BABruce AndrewsApr 17, 20245.0My instructor, John Hanson, takes what I have - overweight, 73, arthritis in hands and shoulders, and has worked with me focusing on what I can do with these restrictions. Last fall my typical golf score was 92-96 for 18 holes at the end of the 2023 golf season. This spring, as the 2024 golf season just begins, my typical score is 84-86. An improvement of eight to ten shots per round. His instruction has led to almost a total elimination of errant shots, improvement in the length of my game via irons, 3 wood, and hybrids, improved my GIR tremendously. In my lifetime I had only had one round under 40 for nine holes. In the past four weeks, I have added three more rounds under 40, shot an 80 for eighteen (would not have even dreamed that possible). I also had a club fitting which was an incredible experience with Toby Archuleta. Love the new clubs, and knowing how to better hit with them. Really looking forward to continued improvement and the higher level of enjoying golf through 2024 and beyond.

- AAAaronJun 12, 20185.0I went to Golftec at DTC to get fitted for clubs. I worked with Toby, who set me up immediately on my session to update my clubs which were very old. From the beginning, my experience was professional and friendly. Toby’s only goal was making sure that I left the place with the right clubs that were fitted for me. The place has an inviting atmosphere, the right type of technology that helped me with my choices of clubs. I figured all of this service would have come at a huge price. So I did my research of pricing clubs that I could buy over the counter/Amazon and such. Toby was able to custom fit me perfectly, and save me money. I don’t understand why someone would buy off the rack when a place like this exists. I highly recommend someone who is playing older equipment to check out the fitting here.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
