- JBJustin BakerSep 10, 20255.0The Cypress Golftec location is a great place to learn to play golf or to learn how to improve your existing golf game. Cameron coaches me and my two sons who are 8 and 14. He is able to communicate the required improvements across those widely varying age groups and abilities/limitations with ease. The technology is really helpful and being able to review the lessons online or on the app reinforces the coaching points discussed in the lesson and shows you drills to do at home that allow you to improve outside of the facility. Everyone there is very friendly, and the facility is top notch. I was initially interested in the concept for the technology, but Cameron's ability to leverage the technology to enhance the coaching really makes it worth the time and money. We have been going there for about three months and seen significant improvement - it has been a worthwhile investment for us.

I have been playing for 10 years and I have had more improvement in my game in the last 2 months of Golftec lessons than I did in my first decade playing. It is a friendly group of coaches and I look forward to every trip to this location. My coach Ty is incredible and is able to utilize the Golftec system/cameras to quickly identify what parts of my swing needed to change and can explain the numbers and angles so that everytime you practice you can know what to check for and can see if your swing is improving. In just a few lessons, we were able to make a few adjustments to my swing that have added 30 yards to my irons. I can’t imagine after the 12 month plan where my swing and game will be at but I’m very much looking forward to finding out and seeing how many strokes I can shave off my game.
- BDBen DuanJan 23, 20251.0I booked a lesson at 5:30pm which i was waiting in there for almost an hour, but nobody check with me and at 5:25 they told me no instructor there with just easy “can I book another time for you” Hey who ever willing to pay $150 for a lesson, they time is valuable. Anyway, not gonna go to this place anymore

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
