I’ve been playing golf for two decades and always heard great things about Golftec’s visual learning approach. It’s been a wonderful way to really learn the right techniques and form; while maintains and gaining my confidence in my swing, game, and desire to learn more. Dan Fountain has been an ideal partner & provides a simple easy to understand building blocks approach that has me wanting to spend more time with him & at GOLFTEC.

I got a referral for a free swing evaluation, I learned a little bit, and by the end of it I had to pay 100$ because allegedly I can only get a “free swing evaluation” if I buy a lesson package. The online referral I got mentioned nothing about this and I feel like I got kinda screwed. I mentioned it to the guy that gave me the referral and he apologized to me because he didn’t realize how sheisty Golftec was. I thought about reporting it to the BBB but it was awhile ago. I got a lesson the other day and it was WAY cheaper and I got more out of it, so now I’m not planning on going back. Especially the way they just stole my money from me. Don’t waste your time here. Just go to a local pro.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
