- BNBrendan NgSep 8, 20255.0I just finished my 10 game pack with Jamie. It was real eye opening for me as to the technology that is available to golfers today. Jamie was everything that I needed to guide me for game improvement. I liked Jamie's teaching style, not too overwhelming technically, but easy going and easy to understand. I also had a driver fitting and putting evaluation, and enjoyed, learned lots from both. One of the best part of this package is the self practice time you have weekly. It really gives you a chance to self evaluate when has been taught. I would be happy to recommend GOLFTEC and Jamie to anyone serious about wanting to improve and enjoy the great game of golf!
- JCjustin chohanJul 15, 20255.0Golftec completely revolutionized my swing. I had the great the pleasure of being coached by Leo Min at the Coquitlam location. Leo used his own knowledge in combination with top of the line technology to break down my swing and recreate it into the most consistent swing I’ve ever had. As a result, I’m shooting my lowest scores ever. I used to chunk a majority of my shots and it was incredibly frustrating. Now, I can’t remember the last time I chunked a shot. Leo will go the extra mile for you, I seriously couldn’t recommend his lessons enough. Golfers of any level would likely benefit from lessons here.
- WGwill griffinJul 11, 20255.0Highly recommend Jamie at GOLFTEC Coquitlam! Cant say enough good things. I was shooting in the hundreds. 110, 108, 120 etc... I had never shot below 100, ever!.... But after 4 lessons with Jamie I shot 90... Yeahp that's right, Absolutely smashed my goal to break 100!! I would have been stoked to break 100 by a stroke or 2 but Jamie is obviously a magician of some sort because he had me shooting 90 in just a matter of weeks. It was worth every penny. If you're thinking about getting lessons, this is the place. Jamie combined with GOLFTEC's technology is a recipe for magic. I think I better start gearing up for the tour since I still have more lessons to go. I might be scratch before the summer ends. Thanks for all your help Jamie. Much appreciated! :)
- RTRob TurzaMay 8, 20255.0I would highly recommend anyone to book some lessons with coach Leo Min at Golftec Coquitlam. I booked a fifteen lesson pack and within the first seven lessons we’ve already changed my swing completely! resulting in me shooting my lowest score ever of 78 at Swaneset golf course. Leo does a great job at breaking down each aspect of the swing in an analytical, easy to approach way that a player of any skill level could benefit from.
- JJJason JanyFeb 4, 20255.0I definitely recommend GolfTec to anyone wishing to improve their game that needs the visual cues to see the improvement. The real time feedback of certain positions, angles, rotational percentages etc are essential for myself. I have played golf for 30 years, and now have a greater understanding of where my errors come from, and what needs to be improved. There is no avoiding the work that is needed to get better, but with this system at least you aren't firing darts at a board hoping that what you changed is going to help. You can visually see where the bad tendencies lie, and get the guidance of your pro on how to improve them. I enjoy the efficient lessons, and am a big fan of my Pro James heath, but my favorite part are the practice sessions. Getting in the stall and working on whatever it is at the time, trying new things to see if they work, it is exponentially better than the range where you think you are changing something, but you never truly know if you are. I am certain that the GolfTec system caters to a lot of different types of people, but if you are analytical by nature this is the place for you. Going over the numbers and percentages after every swing is non replaceable for me, I can't recommend it enough.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
