They have great Golf equipment and they measure the clubs to make sure that the right size for you. Instructors are friendly and they really know their stuff. - GTgeorge thommiJun 2, 20252.0I met my instructor Jack Kade last year at Golftec at Clearwater. I chose the comprehensive package as my golf game needed a lot of help. Jack was very pleasant and courteous. He did point out several problems with my golf game and tried to help me. Every lesson that we took, he made different recommendations and some of them were difficult to perform and made my game worse. The goal was to increase my distance by least another 20 to 50 yards and improve my short game.The package included a round of golf at one of the golf courses they had an agreement with. The package also included measuring and adjusting my clubs and making recommendations I was able to correct some of my mistakes, but unfortunately, even after completing the lessons, my distance did not improve. We worked on my short game for a few lessons, and this did seem to help my chipping. We practiced putting once at the facility but did not practice any sand shots. When I asked when we were going for the round of golf, he informed me that I had run out of lessons which really disappointed me. We set up a date for adjusting the club length, etc., but it was just trying out different companies to see which of them I would choose. I did not buy any clubs. There was a significant lack of lessons for sand game and putting. He knew the problem was my not using my body and made several recommendations. But at the end there was minimal improvement. I think charging over $2K for this package, which really did not cover the some of the short game was very disappointing. Skipping a round of golf despite it being part of the package is another problem that should not have happened.

The fitting was very helpful, very precise, and very productive and left with a 33" Edel EAS 4.0 and can't wait to put it in the bag.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
