  We moved in about 8 months ago. Was a lil run down when we first moved in but they have been working a lot to improve things and has continued to get better. The office staff has always been very friendly and have been helpful anytime I had a question or concern.

  Here since March, just had a newborn! Been safe here so far, maintenance is always on top of everything! The 2 times we had problems they came out here immediately. Even came out at 10:30pm to fix our power! The prices are unbeatable for the location. Not far from everything. All the neighbors are so friendly and the staff are great! Some comments talk about the water being shut off but I’ve never had that problem! Spiders and bugs can come in the apartment but just spray some insect repellent. Like I said prices are great & you get what you pay for.

  Let’s be real—rent prices everywhere are sky-high thanks to corporate greed, and most apartment communities only care about squeezing more money out of residents. That’s why Golden Shores is such a breath of fresh air. It’s easily the most affordable place I’ve found in Jacksonville, and unlike other properties I’ve lived at, the management here actually cares about people, not just profit. This is my third apartment property, and without a doubt, it’s the best one. The staff is excellent—prompt, caring, and always on top of things. But the real MVPs are maintenance. They are heaven-sent. Every single person on the maintenance team is friendly, professional, and quick to fix issues. Honestly, they’re some of the kindest individuals I’ve ever met in this type of setting. In a rental market full of inflated prices and corporate-run complexes that treat residents like dollar signs, Golden Shores stands out for affordability, service, and community. There’s a 10 out of 10 chance I’ll be renewing my lease when the time comes. Thank you to everyone involved for making this place feel like home.

  They shut the water off at least twice a week and never tell us in advance by email or text. Currently it's been 18 hours with no water. Each time I ask about it, they just say "we need a few more minutes". We literally have to have buckets of water ready each day living here.

  I’ve been living here for 4 years and I must say the staff (Stacy, John, Rasheeda, and Malaysia) are great people. They respond to my needs immediately. Maintenance and staff are wonderful. Very quiet neighborhood and safe apartment complex to live in. Most of the residents are either disable elderly or just single people living and surviving. It’s not noisy. I’d recommend anyone to stay here.
