  We insist that we get good value for our money. We do our homework. We got four bids to paint our home from companies recommended by friends and neighbors. Gold Standard Painting was not the highest or the lowest. We were impressed with Tim's website, his CCB record, the examples of GSP's recent work and with Tim himself, so we accepted his proposal. If you look at the photos closely, you will notice that our home has five different colors -- pretty different from most homes and a bit more complicated. We have a second floor window that needed some repair and large porches on the front and in back. Add in our up-front insistence on high quality and our five-star rating an real well-earned accomplishment. HIGHS: Quality, cleanliness, price. LOWS: Speed ( 5 days total - an acceptable trade-off for quality) Added features: Willingness to come back to fix a few little imperfections. Tim's daughters are adorable. Great job, GSP. Tim, we appreciate you.

  My mother passed away recently, and her 1927 home was in need of real help before we can move on with plans for it. First was getting the exterior painted. We had it tested for lead paint, because there were areas of peeling, and there was, indeed, lead in the older layers. So what was a difficult situation, became worse. Most painters, I discovered, are not qualified to deal with lead paint, and when they ARE, the rates are kind of insane. I found Tim Gustus and his company online, had him come out to assess and bid our job. The house is old, tall, challenging. Tim was knowledgeable, professional and REASONABLE. Best, he was willing to work this last outdoor job in, now, this season, and it was brilliant. They watched the weather, made a plan, and worked to get the job done fast. He and his team were respectful of the property, our family and the neighbors. They were there working when they said they would be, they worked hard, they did what they promised. Tim observed and reported some issues we couldn't see, (broken gutter and windows that needed reglazing) and he is performing some repairs for us, and recommended others for what he can't. I am having them paint the interior in the coming months. I'm so pleased with the job, I want to share my experience. I loved the attitude, the bid, but especially, the RESULTS. Thank you GS!!

  Tim did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets- he turned our old brown wood into a stylish new look with perfection! His attention to detail and willingness to fix any imperfections was a 10 out of 10 Tim was on time and eager to preform his craft for us- he was honest and fun, he cleaned up every night and left our place in great shape- We will use Tim for all our rentals as well-

  So pleased we found Tim! They did a great job, on time, did some repairs that were needed. Did two houses for us and sent him to friend to paint theirs also! Highly recommend!!!

  Tim, Daniel, and Clint all of them did a fantastic job, from the quality of repairs done to the attention to detail while painting the exterior of our home. I have recommended GSP to a handful of friends and plan to promote GSP to anyone who is interested in getting a fair and quality paint job. Thanks so much to all of you for spending a week giving our house a fifty year facelift, as the house looks new again. Cheers!
