  Best hotel in the nyc area. Location may not be the best but that doesn’t stop you from having an amazing experience. Will be back for sure!

  My placed burned and we were temporarily placed there in the glo. My experience was excellent under the circumstances. Staff was very understanding and accommodating. Staff was always nice and respectful and helpful no matter the shift. The room was very clean and room came with all your needs. Breakfast was good and they have a workout room and printer if you need it. Overall I say its worth it especially if you have to stay in the Bronx for something 5 out of 5

  Extremely shady, horrible hospitality by staff, combative owner and a non-existent manager. They also let out rooms by the hour, so stay here at your own risk. Never felt more unsafe. Never faced more hostile management. Nightmare at Southern Blvd. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

  Glo Best Western Review (Bronx, NY Area) ​Overall Rating: 3/5 Stars (Good location, but major noise and size issues) ​As a frequent traveler who has stayed at other Best Western properties, I was interested in trying the newer GLō Best Western brand. The aesthetic is indeed very nice—modern, bright, and a refreshing change from a standard hotel. ​The Good: ​Aesthetics: The modern design is a definite plus. Everything looks fresh and new. ​Comfort & Cleanliness: The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean, which I always appreciate. ​Amenities: The gym and morning breakfast are well-kept and a great convenience for travelers. ​Staff: The front desk personnel were consistently kind and helpful, answering all our questions with a friendly attitude. ​The Not-So-Good: ​Room Size: This was the biggest disappointment. Compared to other Best Westerns, the rooms felt exceptionally small. It made moving around and storing luggage quite a squeeze. ​Noise Issues: The thin walls are a major problem for light sleepers. We could clearly hear neighboring guests well after 2:00 AM. ​External Noise: If you are hoping to sleep in, think again. There is a church practically right next door that rings loud morning bells. Furthermore, the cleaning crew starts vacuuming the halls around 9:00 AM, making it impossible to rest past that time. ​Refund Delay: We checked out early and were assured by the front desk that a partial refund would be reflected on my account within a few hours. As of now, only the full initial charge has posted, and the promised refund has not yet appeared. I will follow up, but it's an unnecessary hassle. ​Final Thoughts: While the staff and modern feel of the hotel were great, the combination of the cramped room size and the significant noise issues ultimately made for a frustrating stay. Given the price and the poor soundproofing, we will likely choose a different hotel for our next trip to the Bronx area.
