I recently dined at Giordano’s and had an excellent experience, thanks to our server, Jada. From the moment we were seated, she set the tone with her warm, professional demeanor and genuine hospitality. She managed to balance friendliness with efficiency, anticipating our needs without ever hovering.
Jada made thoughtful recommendations and ensured everything from appetizers to dessert was timed perfectly. Even during a busy dinner rush, she remained calm, attentive, and clearly took pride in her work. It’s rare to find service that feels both personable and polished — but Jada absolutely delivered that.
Giordano’s has always been known for great food, but it’s team members like Jada who make the experience truly memorable.
Don't eat here unless you're OK with eating out of the trash. I had a takeout order placed through Uber eats, realized I had accidentally purchased a tavern style pizza instead of regular thin crust. I saw the cashier throw out my pizza while she grabbed the manager to have them remake a new pie. Ultimately, the manager made a very simple situation, extremely complicated, and was being difficult I decided to stick with the Tavern style and she picked my pizza out of the trash, put it back in the box and gave it back to me. I won't be eating at this location again and neither should you.
Walked into Giordano’s starving and left in a carb-induced state of pure bliss. We ordered the sampler and a Chicago Classic deep-dish that was so good, it fixed my mood and bad decisions(honestly I was hungover).
Our server Jada deserves a shoutout. A mind reader with crazy good timing. She warned us the pizza would take 45 minutes, and recommended appetizer. The sampler came out in record time. Seriously, like less than 5 minutes. Despite the lunch rush, Jada somehow appeared at exactly the right moments like a pizza fairy godmother. 10/10 food, 15/10 service, and I’d absolutely let Jada pick my toppings next time.
Disappointing Experience — Way Too Long of a Wait for Average Food
We had a really disappointing experience at Giordano’s. The wait time was unbelievably long even though the restaurant wasn’t full. I could literally see several vacant tables, yet we were made to wait about 45 minutes just to get seated. The hostess who asked for our pizza order while we were waiting wasn’t friendly either, which already gave off a bad impression.
What’s even more frustrating is that they ask for your pizza order before seating so I am thinking that I’m going to save time since the pizza takes a while to bake — but clearly, that system doesn’t work. After finally getting a table, we waited another 30 minutes for our food. So in total, it took about an hour and 20 minutes before our pizza arrived.
The deep-dish pizza itself was decent, but nothing special. It’s just a thicker pizza loaded with cheese and meat — heavy, but lacking in any standout flavor. The spaghetti wasn’t good either, kind of bland and forgettable.
Honestly, the most irritating part was the waiting time. Between the poor service, long delays, and just-average food, it definitely wasn’t worth the hype or the time. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re prepared to wait forever for a meal that’s just okay.
