  Brian Gilmartin and his team did a great job. After cleaning the chimney Brian showed us what needed to be done to make the chimney safe to operate. Our 40 year old liner needed to be replaced. Brian took pictures of the work needed on the chimney and after the job was complete. My wife and I would highly recommend this chimney service to our friends.   I called Gilmartin Chimney to inspect our 67 year old chimney and to give us advice/options for it. Brian came out promptly and did a thorough inspection and listened to our plans for our older house. He then gave us several options which we appreciated. We selected an option that we had not thought of as it meets all our requirements going forward. We are very pleased and are looking forward to having Gilmartin Chimney fix things for us.

  Brian, his wife and crew are exceptional! We decided to utilize them for our chimney from the previous owners and are ecstatic we made that decision. For our first inspection, we were given invaluable tips on wood burning, and keeping the chimney in the best shape possible, along with proper maintenance. Later, we had work done per their recommendation. The work done was repointing the chimney exterior, pouring a reinforced concrete crown with an overhang, applying a vapor-permeable water repellent, and performing exterior repairs( grinding and filling mortar joints)with the use of a bucket lift. They gave an accurate estimate for the work. We had an issue that they addressed immediately and professionally, even staying in touch with us during their vacation, which we truly appreciated. We are happy to be their customers, and can’t recommend them enough. *the photo with a cable going over the top is from roof work we are currently completing”

  Repaired my chimney, replaced the crown, and added a cap. Was very pleased with the pricing compared to the other quotes received and the work was completed on time and as agreed. Thank you, Brian and crew!
