We were told by the locals that thos was the best luau in town, and they weren't lying! I recommend them 💯! Great atmosphere, and the food was delicious!

Just like Vegas, Hawaii has followed the same path. prices have gone way up, quality of food and entertainment down. used to be such an awesome experience, now just OK. Still fun place to spend the evening

Had a wonderful family experience at Germaine’s Luau. It is a classic show set at the beach and was just as we expected. The staff was so kind and the show very well done. Everything was timed perfectly. Germaine’s knows how to run a luau. The food was tasty and plentiful.

Germaine's Luau: The Authentic Heart of Oahu (And a Touch of Movie Magic!) As a first-time visitor to Hawai'i, the luau experience was at the very top of my bucket list. Like many, I almost made the mistake of booking a generic hotel-based event, but thankfully, we chose Germaine’s Luau on O’ahu. I can now confidently say that this was the single best decision of our trip—it truly set the standard for an authentic island celebration and absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear Germaine’s is far removed from the resort circuit. The setting is spectacular, offering a rustic, beautiful slice of the coastline with a genuine, welcoming atmosphere. And here’s a tip for movie lovers: you might recognize the rugged, picturesque grounds! This location was used in the filming of the Disney hit, Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch. Experiencing the spirit of aloha on a cinematic backdrop adds a layer of magic that you won't find anywhere else. The entire event, from the traditional imu ceremony (unearthing the roasted pig) to the final fire dance, felt completely immersive and genuine. The performers are brilliant, transporting you through Polynesian culture with mesmerizing dances and storytelling that left me captivated. And the food? It was a feast beyond anything I expected. Forget buffet lines; this is a traditional luau experience featuring delicious, authentic food of the islands. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful, a true testament to the quality of the feast. If logistics worry you, don't let them. Germaine's provided convenient, round-trip transportation from a spot near our hotel, making the entire evening stress-free and worth every penny. If you are looking for a true, unforgettable Hawaiian memory—not a manufactured hotel show—this is it. Book Germaine's. You'll be glad you dodged the hotel mistake, too!
