Generation’s childcare located in Irondequoit New York has been nothing short of amazing. The experience that my toddler and I have had, has been extremely blissful. From day one I have been made to feel extremely comfortable with the care and learning my little one has been receiving. Everyone is on one accord and it shows through the children. My little one absolutely loves going to what he calls “ baby school”. Staff does a lot of different activities to help with the growth and development of the children. Everyone is very friendly and it’s like a second family. This is my son’s first year attending pre-K and of course you have hesitation sending your child places, however Generations childcare is the best place to send your child. I am extremely happy and blessed to have generations childcare as my child’s first experience with School.

I Schedule a tour of the facility and that was fine. The communication is terrible. I called inquiring if they still had a available spot for my infant son I got passed from person to person with no one answering my question. The facility had my information all I need to submit was my approval letter from social services and I called left a message on the director voicemail . When I didn’t get a call back I called again and spoke with another staff who took my name and number and the reason I was calling. The staff advised me the director was in a meeting and would call back as soon as she was out. This was Monday 4/25/2022 it is now Thursday 4/28/2022 and I have not received a call no voicemail has been left updating me of anything. Even if they were full it’s still important to communicate with the inquiring parent. I would not recommend this facility because if you aren’t able to communicate the simple things I wouldn’t trust that any thing major would be communicated in a timely manner or handled as such.

Would consistently send my daughter home from a full day of daycare with eating less than 8oz then when we would attempt to discuss or come up with solutions they would blame the baby and her bottles. We pulled her after weeks of not months of this and enrolled her in Browncroft Daycare where she never had any issues and would eat 13 to 14 oz a day. If I could give this place a no star rating I would, trash service from trash people who clearly didn’t care about the well-being and development of our child. So please send your child here if they don’t enjoy eating and growing.

My children have been students at generations for about a year and a half. In that time frame they have been sick on and off at least 8 times. Along with that, the changes in staff there has changed at least 5 times. They are not consistant with anything. The site constantly smells of urine and feces. The site director was fired and nobody knew who the new one was because there is always someone new in the office. I still have not met nor spoke with the new director. My youngest child recently came home with bumps all over her body and when I brought it to the attention of the staff they said " oh yea she prob got that from the other kid who has bumps on her face last week" I was outrage! There was no notice or warning that another child had been ill in the school. This is not ok. My daughter who is one is home now with a fever and hand foot and mouth disease. I would not recommend Generations to anyone who cares about there child. The days you'll have to take off work and deal with your child in pain is not cool.

The bussing for UPK is horrible. They are always late, the kids never get to school on time.
