  Mr. Ognibene or Gene as I call him is most definitely the best attorney in IL. He’s very methodical and strategic in his approach as well as knows the law like the back of his hand. He’s very straight forward and honest with you. There are people you can trust and some you can’t but Gene falls into the you CAN category. He’s always represented me with professionalism and is a WINNER. He knows what buttons to push as a Criminal Defense attorney for your case and that is an attorney you want on your side. I promise you if you call him there will be zero disappointment. I have his number on speed dial god forbid I ever need his services again. Just call and after that first conversation with him you will see exactly what I mean. By the way he’s very friendly and easy going which I’ve come to admire but fights like hell when needed.   Exorbant pricing for the retainer, minimal work on the case and sub optimal results. If you enjoy writing checks for tens of thousands of dollars and also enjoy spending years in IDOC this is the lawyer for you. If not, look elsewhere.
