We recently had our house repiped due to leaks and old failing cast iron pipes. Will, Hunter, and Brody did a great job. They were fast, efficient, and clean. Will went above and beyond answering any questions or concerns we had. We won't hesitate to call Gem Statewide for any plumbing issues we may have in the future.

Ryan and Brody were absolutely stellar. From their easy to talk to approach, listening ears and the final result, we could not be HAPPIER. They got straight to work, cleaned up after themselves and even played with my dog a bit, lol. (My dog wouldn’t leave them be). Truly so sweet and easy to talk to, and explain the whole process thoroughly. 10/10, Ryan and Brody are a killer team.

Ryan and Shane came to give us an estimate on replacing our laundry tub with a regular bathroom sink and they were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The estimate was quite reasonable and they gave us tips on a couple other issues we were having to boot! Gem also lined our cast iron drain pipes a few years back. They do excellent work and I highly recommend them!
Frequently Asked Questions About Gem Statewide Plumbing
What are the benefits of pipe lining?
Pipe-lining benefits include high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, minimal property damage, durability, and often improved water flow.
How does pipe relining work?
The pipe relining process involves repairing pipes from within. A malleable liner made of fiberglass or polyester, curated with resin, is inserted into the original existing pipe. This special resin then hardens to act as a brand-new pipe within the existing pipe.
How long does pipe relining last?
A properly installed and maintained pipe liner can last 50-60 years.
What material pipes can be relined?
Pipes made of materials such as galvanized steel, PVC, cast iron, copper, clay, fiberglass, high-density polyethylene, and more can be relined.
What type of pipe can be relined?
Depending on their condition, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, gas pipes, as well as vertical and horizontal pipes, can be relined.
How do tankless water heaters work?
Tankless water heaters operate by sending cold water through a heat exchanger, where an electric heating element or gas burner heats the water to your desired temperature.
What are some benefits of a tankless water heater?
Tankless water heaters offer numerous benefits, including a longer lifespan compared to traditional water heaters, reduced maintenance needs, fewer space requirements, and potential savings on energy bills.
Why should I replace cast iron pipes?
If blockages or leaks occur frequently, if you are starting a home renovation, or if your home was built before the 1980s, it’s essential to have your cast iron pipes inspected. These pipes can begin to deteriorate as early as 25 years old, and replacing them when necessary is in your best interest.
How can I tell if my cast iron pipes are broken?
In many cases, you may encounter water damage, worsening leaks, high water bills, and unpleasant odors coming from your pipes.
How do I inspect my pipes?
A licensed plumber can inspect your pipes using a video scope to assess their condition.
