    The representative, Paul, was prompt, professional and friendly and was able to schedule the work to be done the following day. Did a great job of explaining the issues and recommending the best solutions. Follow up review will be submitted upon completion of work.

    I’m very surprised at my experience with this company given the fact that they do have a lot of good reviews online. One of the issues is I asked for a written estimate for the cost to do the work more than once and I never received it. I was given a verbal estimate over the phone to clean the coil for my unit For $2000. I have since learned that this is several times more than the actual cost to clean a coil. When I asked why I was being quoted so much I was told that the price could be closer to $3000 and was not given any real explanation for why the quote was so high. I’ve since gotten a quote from another company for between four and $600. I don’t understand why this company has chosen to try to grossly inflate the cost of The actual service. Additionally, I was told that my other unit should be replaced even though it is fully functioning. I was quoted between six and $9000 for a new unit again without any documentation.

    Horrible communication! Had to get a new HVAC company due to prior one merging. Gee was recommended. Initial maintenance call went okay, had to remind them to do the upstairs main unit and filter. Needed a service call, they said they could be here the next day. I got the system working again, called to reschedule and they said they were about to call and move me out a week anyway. Tech was late, no call or text from tech or scheduling. Had to send tech on his way due to a doc appointment. Called to complain and reschedule and got nothing but excuses from their "customer service manager". They recently called for my next maintenance appointment and I asked to speak to the service manager, they said he would call me back. 24 hours and no call. I called in and this time the lady on the phone made more excuses and argued with me for 10 minutes. More than a week later and still no call from service manager. No way I would let them in my house or give them more money. We need to change our zone controller and are looking to upgrade our system in a year or so, Gee will not be considered.

    This was not a good service call at all, and here’s why: while the technician was polite, professional, and kept me updated on what he was doing, the actual work was not done properly. Parts and screws were left out on both the outside unit and the HVAC system in the attic. I’m concerned he may have even broken something, as the reassembly was careless. Even after I reported the issue, no one was sent back to correct it. I was forced to troubleshoot on my own, and despite paying $500, I still had to reinstall screws and parts myself—risking electrocution in the process. (And these are the things my untrained eyes could see… 🤞) Unfortunately, I have no choice but to leave a negative review based on this experience. I wouldn’t recommend at all based on that!
