Our nugget history begins in the mid-1970’s, when the original owner, Lou Iandoli and his business partner opened Garden Poultry in the heart of Greenwich, CT. In 1978, grabbing hold of an opportunity to grow and expand, Mr. Landoli opened under the name of Garden Catering on Sound Beach Avenue; which is now known as our flagship location.
Sadly, Mr. Iandoli passed away in 1989 and Garden Catering closed its doors. Responding to the heartache of nugget fans everywhere, Frank Carpenteri Sr. purchased the business from Mrs. Iandoli, along with the secret recipes for Garden Catering’s famous fried chicken and nuggets. He re-opened in late fall of 1991 and gained instant praise, making Garden Catering once again a staple for the community under its new owner.
Recognizing the growing demand for the crave-able menu, Mr. Carpenteri opened several more Garden Catering locations throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties. Keeping the business in the family, Frank’s son and daughter now manage the daily operations and plan to spread the nugget love in Fairfield for years to come!
Used to love this place. Came in to order a nugget wrap at 6:45 and apparently they’ll only do fried food at this time? Is it really too difficult to throw that in a wrap? SMH place used to be great.

I was putting spices into a shake-to-season bag when the bottom suddenly came off and all the food fell out, right onto the carpeted floor… I thought it was a regular bag, but it turned out to be just a tube folded at the bottom. It was terrible!!! Other food was good tho…

I used to frequent the Hamilton Ave location in Greenwich for years, it was always amazing. I've lived in Fairfield for 5 years, and about once a year I give this location a try, and keep being extremely disappointed-its like a different restaurant altogether. I've had in-store waits of 30 minutes, because they prioritize the online orders over people ordering in-store. Yesterday I ordered delivery for my family. We got a few specials with nuggets and a sandwich. The nuggets were borderline inedible-hard as a rock, super thick breading, dry as a bone. My toddlers wouldn't eat them. Portions were also a joke. Lesson learned, last time I give them a shot. I want to try the Greenwich location again just to see if the food is different or the lack of quality has permeated across the chain.

OG garden customer here, called before close on a Friday night , asked for a highschool (iykyk) , gentleman knew exactly what I was asking for and it was just such a great experience . From the late night hours, kind customer service and nuggets that never fail, GC Fairfield is a must visit :)

I got 4 meals. 1 junior, 1 special, 1 big boy, and buffalo nuggets. All had an insanely little amount of chicken. the junior special came with 2 chicken nuggets which is 2 oz of chicken. 2 nuggets for 9 dollars is crazy idc how good GC claims to be this is just sad. the franchises will never be as good as the one in old greenwich and this is exactly why. this one in fairfield is the worst version of their sad franchising. pic is the entire junior special
