i switched because they grabbed money out of my checking account 3 days before i got paid making other checks bounce.... Now, instead of calling me about a forgotten balance, they called a collection agency. all they had to do was call me.... Or send a bill or send an email ..... They got a collection agency without even trying to address the problem themselves. no wonder they're losing business. overpriced bullies in my opinion

After 25+ years of continual single-home-and-property ownership in St. Louis and St.Charles counties, I have FINALLY found an absolutely superb lawn-and-landscape care and maintenance compny: Green Thumb Outdoor Professionals!! I have used lawn-care companies for all of these 25 years, owing to my disability since Vietnam, and every single one of them has been a disappointment...until Green Thumb, that is. These guys are THE BEST, from the "bottom" of the company to the top!! My lawn crew actually LISTENS to the customer (me) and then does their work every week to perfection AND with the utmost care. My lawn literally has never looked as good as it does this growing season!! G/T management is also on top of their game, ensuring that the "seasonal", common-sense things that keep a lawn looking good are constantly anticipated and provided for (e.g., raise the blades in the heat, don't mow right after rain...even if "scheduled", don't "scalp" the edging, etc.). In short, I'll be a Green Thumb Outdoor Professionals customer from now on. Why change away from the BEST??!!

Green Thumb is great. They take care of our lawn like it is their own. We have special treatments for fleas and ticks and it works great without harming our pets. Would recommend them anytime!

Did an amazing job on our new landscape wall and stamped concrete. Looks great and friends/family were impressed. Planning another project on front/sides in near future.
Frequently Asked Questions About G/T Outdoor Professionals
How do I sign up for services?
To initiate our services, please contact us or submit our online request form. We will arrange a visit to provide a free estimate for your lawn care needs.
Why choose G/T Outdoor Professionals over another company?
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our customer retention rate, with nearly 100% of first-timers becoming long-term customers. We specialize in delivering exceptional, personalized customer service tailored to meet your specific requirements.
How do you bill me for services?
Our billing process occurs after service completion. For mowing services, we require a credit card on file, which will be charged weekly following service delivery. Landscape and other services are billed upon completion, with payment due at that time.
If the weather is bad, will my treatment be pushed back to a later date?
Weather conditions can affect our service schedule, but rest assured that we will treat your lawn within the appropriate timeframe. Our products are specifically formulated for our climate. For mowing services, if your regular cut day is too wet, we will return on the next dry day or the following day, whichever comes first.
It rained shortly after my lawn treatment was completed. Is it still okay?
If rainfall occurs within an hour of treatment, there's typically no cause for concern as our treatments benefit from watering. However, in the event of a heavy downpour immediately following treatment, please contact us directly to assess whether reapplication is necessary.
Do I have to be present during your treatments?
Your presence is not required during treatments. Our efficient process typically takes less than a minute per thousand square feet of lawn. However, if you prefer to be present, please inform us, and we can schedule the treatment at a convenient time for you.
How often should I mow?
For optimal lawn health, mowing every four to five days is recommended. Extended intervals between mowing can be detrimental to grass health. It's advisable to avoid mowing when the lawn is wet or during peak heat hours. Generally, if the temperature is uncomfortably high for you to mow, it's likely too hot for the grass as well.
