- EBEsther BoehmOct 15, 20251.0I won't buy another lazy boy again. We have purchased furniture from this store in the past. I bought an electric recliner spring 2025. I sat in two recliners in the store. One was a rocker and one wasn't. The salesman said otherwise they were the same chair. In both chairs my feet touched the floor. This was the most important thing to me in a new chair. They delivered it in July. My feet hung down, nowhere close to touching the floor! They said you have to sit in the chair over time so it moulds to your body. Eventually the seat would go down and my feet would touch. Because this chair hurts my shoulders, I could only manage to sit an hour a day. A tech came to my house and adjusted something which made very little difference. The manager at the store refused to trade or refund my money. I think the reason they tell you to sit in it so it will mould to your body is so they can say you've had it to long and will do nothing about it.

From the salesman forgetting to order half the kitchen set, "NO CHAIRS", to the over a month late on it. Being told the bar stools would arrive in August with the late kitchen table and seating, then being told they're on back order until DECEMBER. The no returned calls when trying to figure out where our furniture is that we OWN. Then there's the "custom" couch which added four to six weeks to a couch order and we just added an additional love seat to the modular couch itself. They were not upfront with how long the furniture would take, they told us 4 to 6 weeks. Then the other couch an additional 4 to 6 after that because we ordered an additional section that they offered. And it's hard telling when we'll get that. Be sure you find out how long your furniture will take at the latest if you think you're going to get it when they say you are.
