  I had a great experience at Fresh Dental! The office is super clean and modern. The dental assistants and receptionist are so friendly and welcoming. Their hygienist is also amazing! She was so gentle I didn't feel any pain or sensitivity. Definitely one of the best cleanings I've ever had. Dr. Sam also did a thorough dental exam. I trust his experience and expertise. Highly recommended!

  I’ve known Dr. Sam for a while and I had dental works done by him before. He is very nice and honest and I fully trust him with my dental needs. I’ve had a chance to visit his new dental office and this place is modern and beautifully designed. Staffs here are also really nice and personable. They made me felt comfortable the whole time I was there. They even offer personal selections of Netflix and pillow during treatment! I would highly recommend Dr. Sam for anyone looking for a dentist in Santa Ana.

  In short: nice and well responsive staffs, flexible appointment hour, better clean modern atmosphere, good for family, free Netflix to watch during visit, not crowded, more private feeling with relaxing music. An in-depth review of Fresh Dental in Santa Ana I visited this brand-new dental office (2019) yesterday for teeth whitening as my friend recommend because they have a very good promotion (just $149). I had an appointment with the dentist, named “Sam”, at 10 am. However, due to the traffic, I called the office and tell them that I will be late. The front desk woman said, “no problem”. So, I feel relieve. When I arrive the Fresh Dental office around 10:25 am, the front desk woman kindly smile and warmly welcome me. By the way, I notice that it was only me who was the customer which made me feel more personal and private. Within seconds, I met Dr.Sam who again kindly greeted me and lead to the room inside. He said “Are you ready for brighter smile?” I said “Yes, sure”. However, I abruptly ask him about “How much brighter level do I get after treatment and what is the side effect of this whitening system?” He clearly explained me everything before we started the treatment. We talked like almost 10 minutes to make sure that I clearly understand everything without rushing expression from Dr.Sam. This helps me ensure that I will receive the right treatment and service. Then, we started by X-raying and check up all my teeth by another technician and Dr.sam showed me that there are some plaque and 3 cavities forming between my inner teeth. So, he recommended me to have another appointment for these to be fixed. (there is no forceful feeling or expression to make appointment from Dr.Sam which was great) I recommend everyone to use the bathroom before going to next step. Next, we started the whitening process by putting some equipment to make my mouth stay open and other protective gears preventing my gum, inner cheek and tongue from the whitening chemicals. During this step, the technician gently applied all equipment into my mouth, gave me a yellowish protective glass, and explained every steps that what she is going to do. This also relieve my stress during the process. ( I asked the technician about how much percentage of chemical for this treatment? And she said “25% hydrogen peroxide”) Before the technician started turning on the whitening machine. Dr. Sam came to check on my teeth again to see if everything is properly apply to my mouth. This ensure me the quality of his service. Then, Dr. Sam handed me a remote control for Netflix that I can watch during the treatment. This helps me relax. Once the machine was on, the technician told me that I can clap my hand if there is anything wrong or feel any sensitivity. There were totally 3 of 15 minute sessions that the Dr.Sam and technician often came and took a look. Actually, they were around my head because I was stretching my arms and the technician asked me if there is anything wrong and Dr.Sam said “he is just stretching” After 45 minutes, the technician gently and slowly removed all the equipment from my mouth. It was little pain like waxing your arms or legs. However, I could not move my jaws and felt numb at the first time. But after 30 minutes, it was recovered. Finally, the result was great you can look at the before and after pictures of my teeth. Thank you Fresh Dental for having me a brighter smile.

  I came in for a checkup and cleaning. Dr. Sam was thorough and cleaned my teeth real well I came on a Sat afternoon and appreciate their flexible hours. I also really enjoyed watching Netflix while getting my teeth cleaned. It was a very good way to distract me. The office is nicely designed and refreshing. I highly recommend this dental office.

  I have had treatment done by Dr Sam at his previous office (Parkview Dental in riverside) so I knew what to expect with his dental work. But I was excited to see his new office in Santa Ana. And I wasn't disappointed. This office is really close to the freeway and in a large retail area. The first impression I had was a modern simplistic office, unlike the previous one he worked at. It was very open, good lighting, with a more modern vibe (i like the background music). I went during his first week of opening, and the office staff reassured me that more things were still coming for the waiting area, including a coffee bar. Check in was really fast. Everything is digital. Everyone was also very friendly. I came because my crown fell off. He was able to fit me in right away. He took the time to take xrays (digital) and explained everything. He gave me options and never pressured me to make a certain decision. Everything was transparent. My crown was addressed and I was on my way. His rates appears to be very fair and he works with a lot of insurance companies. All in all, a nice office that is different from your typical dental office. I week definitely return
