We purchased our modular home for $300K in Nov 2021 from Freedom Homes. One year later we developed a leak in our master bath ceiling. I went to Freedom Homes and Jason Wellhofer stated that our home was out of warranty and to contact the extended home warranty co. This company came out at least 3 times each time stating that there was nothing wrong with the roof. One inspector would not even go up on the roof! I went by Freedom Homes asking them what was going to be done about my leaking roof that it was now leaking in the kitchen. They stated again that they aren't going to do anything that it is out of warranty. We decided to have a roofing company come and do a roof study. This shows everything that is wrong with the roof. They sent a shingle off to CertainTeed and they have stated there is nothing wrong with the shingles. This study shows that it is manufacturer installation error and there was no waterproof barrier placed at the time of installation and causing us to have this leak. We now have black and white furry mold growing on the ceiling in our master bath. The last time I went by Freedom Homes Brandon Vinson told me to stop coming by that they were not going to do anything and that if I felt they were in the wrong to take them to court. We are trying to solve this in a civil manner. We submitted a complaint to the BBB and were told that this was due to lack of annual roof maintenance. What is that supposed to mean?! We had barely been in the house a year. Now almost 4 years later we are still dealing with it. Freedom Homes does not want to admit that this roof was installed incorrectly from their home movers that are not qualified to put a roof on. Buyer beware! If we could do it all again we would not have spent this much money on a home from a company with such horrible customer service and does not stand behind their workmanship.

The workers here were not very welcoming and did not go out of their way to help us.
