  Awesome place to stay while fishing lake of the woods!!!! Crew is super friendly and knowledgeable! Houses are warm and ready to fish when you get there. They set your houses up where fish are biting and will give friendly advice on target species! Definitely worth it!!! Going to be coming back next winter!

  Doesn’t matter if it’s Winter or Summer Fred’s Beds has always put us on the fish! Winter fishing- you arrive at the headquarters building greeted by great staff. They will answer any questions you have. They have some fishing gear and a variety rental equipment. From there you’ll be directed to the lake access, which is a few hundred yards away. Depending on what time of year the staff will drive you out or guide you to your sleeper house. Their sleepers are significantly larger than others and at half the rate compared to others on the lake. Staff is always checking in and are available any time. If sleeping on the ice isn’t for you, they also have condos that were build in the past few years, so they decades ahead of other resorts. Highly recommend and booking your trip early as they book up fast. I’ve had to go with other resorts because I didn’t book early enough and I never got the experience like I do with Fred’s Beds. Doesn’t Matter if it’s Guys weekend, girls weekend or Family weekend Fred’s beds does not disappoint!
