  Helene has been wonderful. So helpful with our 4 month old puppy. She truly cares and works hard to find solutions to make it easier for us during the puppy stages. I value her opinions and listen to what she says. It works if you put in the time. I will refer her over and over again. My Jill is doing much better, thanks to Helene's knowledge and understanding of our most precious pets.

  Helene has been so wonderful helping to train our puppy. She gave us easy to implement steps that were effective within the first week of training. By the end of training, our puppy had all the commands we were looking for and more! Highly recommend - Helene is the best!

  Helene instantly connected with my golden doodle Callie. She taught me how to train my dog. We approached different ways to do certain things. She now can travel as my service dog. I was amazed how quickly she was learning. I absolutely would recommend her to train your dog. Thank you Helene

  I had the absolute pleasure of working with Helene Scott at Florida Dog Training School, and I can confidently say she is one of the most dedicated and passionate professionals I’ve ever met. My dog Lola and I were looking for help with basic obedience training, and what we got was so much more than just a handful of commands. We got a trainer who truly cares. From the very beginning, Helene made us feel comfortable and supported. Lola can be a little shy and stubborn at times, but Helene met her exactly where she was. She never forced anything or rushed the process. Instead, she used her deep understanding of dog behavior and positive reinforcement techniques to build a strong bond with Lola—earning her trust with patience, praise, and treats. Watching Lola light up and engage with Helene was amazing. Over the course of our sessions, Lola mastered all her basic commands: sit, stay, down, come, heel, and drop it (all things we had struggled with on our own). But what really stood out to me was Helene’s ability to make training fun and stress-free, both for Lola and for me. She took the time to teach me how to communicate more clearly and confidently with my dog, which made all the difference. What sets Helene apart is her passion. You can tell immediately that this isn’t just a job to her... it’s a calling. She brings so much energy, heart, and knowledge into every session. She celebrates the small wins just as much as the big ones, and she genuinely wants to see you and your dog succeed. If you're looking for a trainer who blends professionalism with a true love for animals, Helene Scott is the one to call. Lola and I are both better because of her, and we’re so grateful we found her. I recommend her to every dog owner I know in the Tampa Bay area!
