Kevin Feng is my favorite instructor at Kitsilano fitness world. Not only is he a happy guy; He has the best attitude, he’s kind and pushes us in class in a supportive way that allows us to have a great workout. I look forward to coming to his Tuesday evening classes. I would come to more of his classes if my work schedule aligned. What also keeps me coming back is his welcoming and calming energy. He cares about each and everyone in the class and knows us all by name. He encourages us throughout the class and I feel safe to show up as I am (even if I am having a bad week or have an injury). He doesn’t judge, he’s a great human being with a lot of heart that keeps bringing me back.
Thank you so much Kevin for making a big difference with my fitness world class experience!

Solid gym for the price, has everything you need and the staff are friendly. The one critique I have is that when fitness equipment is damaged or out of commission, it stays broken for too long. This is what the club enhancement fee should pay for. Also, gym goers could do a better job with gym etiquette and cleaning up after themselves, ie putting things away and wiping everything down. Great gym nonetheless, will keep using it.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this gym, and I feel people deserve to know how they treat their members. After I reported harassment from staff, instead of addressing the situation professionally, the management became hostile and intimidating. They tried to silence me by cancelling my membership and even calling the police for no legitimate reason.
It was shocking and unsettling to see a business behave this way. They made false claims to justify their actions and completely avoided taking responsibility for their staff’s behavior. Rather than supporting a member who came forward in good faith, they tried to turn the situation around and make me the problem.
No customer should ever be treated like this—especially not by a company that claims to promote health and community. What I experienced was retaliation, dishonesty, and intimidation. It’s clear that this gym’s priority is protecting itself, not its members.
If you value safety, respect, and professionalism, look elsewhere. This is not a place that handles complaints with integrity or care.
One of the individuals that were responsible for this was Renee and her accomplices from member services.
It was the worst experience ever! They trained to rub your pocket with a beautiful smile on day 1, we registered for a trial month on the Aug 28, due to medical condition we give the 30 days notice on September 29th, however they not only made excuses and did not accept their first initial offer to cancel our trial at end of the month but also charged us their annual fee which they supposed to charge on 60 days to members! When we complained they showed us a tiny narrow line in their screen on the corner you never see! No sign on the counter or anywhere else mentioned there is a $60 annual fee with your registration, no matter a month or a year! As they need 30 days notice, so be careful your monthly trial is not $16-$25 it will cost you whatever plus $60 plus applicable taxes!
The gym is always so busy, with a lots of out of orders fitness equipment, no fresh air and so much of the body odour, so many of cleaning wipes all around the floor.
Give yourself a favour and choose wisely, there so many fitness locations with full transparent terms, but this one! Seems to build to charge you as much as possible with Fake offers!
My husband and I went for a tour, they convinced us to sign up and that we could cancel anytime. I later even got a 3 month personal trainer and paid for it. We were later moving away to another location and asked them to cancel. They made many excuses and denied us the cancellation. It's been a year of being away and yet being charged membership for a gym we are no longer attending. I regret convincing my husband to sign up.
I told a friend and it looks like she was also deceived the same way and yet couldn't cancel when she moved to a new province. I think it is deceitful when the employees promise one thing and then do a 360 and toss you over emails to other people when it's time to cancel. Very frustrating and really learnt my lesson not to trust their word. My first and worst experience!
I moved away in March 2025 and have been paying for both our membership till October 2025 because they refused to let us cancel even after asking for many documents including proof of our new address etc.
