  I was incredibly nervous about boarding Charlie for the first time while I went out of town, but Fit N Furry Pet Resort exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, their team made us feel welcome and reassured. They treated Charlie with such genuine care and attention that I could actually relax knowing she was in good hands. When I picked her up, she was happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved during her stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Fit N Furry to anyone looking for a safe, compassionate, and professional place to board their pets. They made Charlie’s first boarding experience a positive one—and gave me peace of mind I didn’t think was possible.

  We adopted a very large 3.5 month old puppy from our local animal shelter and had no history of his upbringing or past social experiences with people or dogs. We were extremely thankful to learn that Fit ‘N’ Furry in Petaluma offered free puppy socialization sessions on Saturdays and we immediately enrolled our puppy (as it turns out, he loves his pup-mates and the puppy parents!). These sessions are invaluable; we plan to use their boarding facilities as well as their doggy daycare to continue to expose our puppy to other dogs in a safe and trusted environment well into adulthood.

  Wonderful experience at the Saturday puppy socials with the training team, Marie and Ford. Safe space and lots of attention for the puppies to interact and play in an organized way. We tried a different place prior to Fit n Furry, that was a free for all and our little pup got attacked multiple times by another dog with little worker interference. We are so grateful to have found this place. The trainers know all the temperaments of the doggies and pay close attention, the pups are divided up by size and excitement to give the doggies time to adjust during the play session. We’ll definitely be coming back for the weekly play dates as long as they’ll have us 😀, and feel comfortable that when our little guy needs to be boarded, we can trust them to take great care!

  Our puppy had the best time at Fit n Furry. They took amazing care of him and were really great about letting me know how he was doing throughout his stay. I could tell all the staff really cared about him. He also did a week of their training program while boarding and the trainer was very experienced and communicative about his progress. You could tell there’s a lot of passion for dogs. I love how they provide a session to help us practice at the end of his stay as well as a follow up. He was freshly bathed, happy, and eager to show me all he learned when I picked him up! Looking forward to his next stay!
