  I came to First Team with little to no experience flying and through my instructor Jacob and the rest of the team I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. I would recommend this school to anyone getting into flying or trying to further their passion for flying. Thank you Mr Barry and the rest of First Team Pilot Training.

  I am a student at First Team Pilot Training working toward my private pilot’s license. I can confidently say that First Team Pilot Training is the best school I could have chosen. They have guided me through my training at a pace that fits me while still keeping things efficient. I have trained at both locations, and I would recommend each one. Both Fayette County and West Memphis Municipal offer excellent planes and instructors. Overall, I would recommend First Team Pilot Training to anyone interested in entering the world of aviation.

  Absolutely amazing experience! I trained at First Team for 17 months and was able to complete my Private, Instrument rating, and Commercial licenses, all while working a full time job. They have an amazing fleet of well-maintained PA-28 TAA aircraft and top notch instructors that don't just treat you like a number. Barry and his team are patient, and cater to the individual needs of the students. Highly recommend whether you want to fly recreationally or as a career!

  Best Flight School in the Mid South.. Hands Down. Trying to be a Pilot has been a Life long dream. However, it comes with its many challenges. But every time I was faced with adversity I felt I had an incredible team of individuals there to help me overcome it. Starting with Barry, the CEO, who has taken time from his busy schedule to send me through the proper channels, to handle any issues I have had, or to find him grilling out some burgers for the students after a long flight. The Instuctors are all amazing, Mine are Dalton Goode and Lorenzo Pugh incredibly knowledgeable and professional, now i consider my friends. At First Team you dont feel like just a student, you truly do feel like you belong to a Team, striving to be the finest the aviation community has to offer this side of the Mississippi..
