My friend, who did NOT have an account there, was approved to use his truck as collateral for a home equity loan for his kitchen remodel. I went to FNBM, where I have banked since 2000, for the same thing. My credit rating is 820 and have been employed continuously since 1974. I was denied, never even had a sit-down interview; I sat while she stood. Their loss.
