- RWRobert Wright1 day ago1.0Good location, and some very good employees. I loved the people I worked with. The horrible aspect of this establishment, is the management. I was fired due to “multiple incidents “. Never once did anyone have a discussion about my performance, ever. I was asked to meet in a room with one person I had never met, and the other who was my “boss”. She was the food and beverage manager. I had spent about 20 minutes with her in the 3 months I worked there. No paperwork, no discussion, nothing/. Just brought in a room and fired based on an employees gossip. This employee has since been fired for inappropriate advances on female employees. Which is what I tried to tell them during the meeting in which I was fired. I was told “I don’t want to hear he said she said gossip!!!” It was said loud and aggressively to me. I have the entire conversation recorded…. As it’s always a good idea to record HR meetings. I was belittled and told that my gossip about this employee would not be listened to. However, since I never met one of the people in the room and had only spent about 30 minutes with the other manager, they clearly were only firing me based on “he said she said “. They didn’t know me at all, or had ever taken any time to talk to me. The employee that complained about me has multiple sexual abuse charges that relate to a minor. He has now been fired after luring women into bathrooms to get off camera and be alone with them. First Golds management didn’t want to listen to me when I tried to explain he was a problem. He has also since been arrested for trying to strangle is wife. First gold ignored any attempt of mine to talk to them.
