  I went to the Financial Counseling Center for help with my bankruptcy case last year, and they turned what started as a stressful, emotionally challenging situation into an empowering, uplifting experience. Filing for bankruptcy is never an easy decision, no matter the circumstances; however, Tamara and Michael provided outstanding professional advice and resources that helped me make a well-informed decision without any pressure or obligation. From the moment I walked into their office, I felt comforted knowing I was in capable hands. They treated me as more than just another client — they saw me as a person going through a difficult time, and that compassion made all the difference. Both Tamara and Michael were extremely diligent and responsive throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions promptly and provided far more value than I could have ever expected. I’m so grateful this chapter of my life is finally behind me, and I can now move forward with a fresh start thanks to the Financial Counseling Center. If you’re looking for legal guidance in this area, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

  I'm incredibly thankful to Michael and his team at the Financial Counseling Center. Over the past ~4 years, they've been a lifeline. When I was overwhelmed by divorce- and business-related debts, Michael and his team patiently guided me through a solution that satisfied creditors. Even after my divorce was finalized three years later, Michael continued to assist. His expertise led to negotiating $46k down to $22k and $28k down to $10k. With their support, I've resolved all debts and am now saving instead of losing to interest. Michael not only taught me financial responsibility but also how to rebuild my credit. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael and the Financial Counseling Center to anyone seeking debt relief and lasting financial stability.   I will keep this short and simple. Michael, Tamara and John are exceptional. I went to several different attorneys in LA to see who would be the best fit for my case and I felt the most comfortable with their office. From the get-go, Michael was genuine and incredibly knowledgeable. Tamara was very supportive and always answered all of my questions. John even took the time out of his super busy schedule to be there by my side on the day of my hearing. I highly recommend them to anyone and everything was handled in a swift professional manner. I am very grateful for them.
