It was my first time visiting Fil Cuisine in Kent, WA, and it never disappointed me flying all the way from North Dakota. The food truly tasted like genuine Filipino home-cooked meals. We ordered porketa, pompano sinigang, lumpia, chicken BBQ, bangsilog, and halo-halo. Everything was delicious, but the porketa, a crispy pork belly lechon, was definitely the best among what we ordered. I highly recommend it if you ever go there.
The servings were generous, and to my surprise, they even gave me a discount I wasn’t expecting. The ambience and service reflected that warm Filipino hospitality. It felt like being back home.
They also have pastries, and we couldn’t resist trying the ube bread and cassava cake. Both were absolutely delicious.
For those with dietary restrictions, it’s best to ask the staff about ingredients since some Filipino dishes may include soy sauce, fish sauce, or pork. The restaurant is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible which makes it a great spot for families.
Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Filipino food and hospitality.
Jen is fantastic!! She always makes me feel at home. My son is away at college and anytime I go to visit him he asks me to bring him his favorite, Kare-Kare, from Fil Cuisine.

Been in the area a few times but haven't tried this restaurant. This time it was suggested by a local resident and man, I'm glad we came.
My Japanese friend loved the Kare kare...I did too, although it's lacking the tripe.
They don't have fresh lumpia, which is one of my favorite. All in all, we were all satisfied. I recommend this place.

Came here for lunch and was really disappointed. The table wasn’t even clean when we sat down, and it wasn’t busy at all. We ordered lechon kawali, chicken barbecue, and laing. It took 20 minutes just to get the laing, and after waiting another 45 minutes the rest of our food still hadn’t been served. We decided to leave and just pay for the laing, but they even tried to charge us for the chicken barbecue and lechon kawali we never got. Terrible experience. Don’t waste your time here.

Waited 1 hr to get chicken bbq,
After an hour, after reminding the waitress they started cooking, but it was too late. Had no more time nor patience to wait. Had to leave hungry without eating, after wasted hour.
