We had FHIA Remodeling do a Hurricane window, door and patio door job on our house. This was done about 18 months ago. We paid close to $50,000 to have the work done. About 2 months ago we noticed a diagonal crack in the outer glass . I called FHIA and Steven replied by text asking for pictures and said they would take care of it. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks I contacted him and was told ''Oh must have sent it to the wrong number" and that was followed by a quote to repair for $1000! I called FHIA and was told the front door had a 1 year warranty! I told them their sales rep Amy Barnes had told us everything had a lifetime warranty . Who in their right mind would spend $50,000 and have every other window and door lifetime warranty except the front door which was not a cheap item with just a 1 year warranty, just makes no sense . We asked the rep a few times about warranty and she assured us everything was covered.I called to speak to someone, a Manager in the sales office but they were always away from the office and they would not give me a number to call him on. They always told me someone would call but no one ever did and only once did I get a return call. We had no Contractors Warranty form and no specs or information on the front door in the package they gave us along with the permits.Wonder why there was no front door info? After numerous calls I got Lillian to send me the warranty and contract on Sept 18th it was blank with no customer details ,I asked her to please send the document with our information filled out and the front door specs etc , still waiting for that. I called again next day and she told me she had talked to someone and they could not do anything about the front door issue even though we had been told everything was a lifetime warranty. She then said they would do it at a discount price of $1000 and I replied how can that be a discount if over a month previously "Steven" had quoted $1000, her response was "oh". I offered ,not because I had to or felt obligated to ,$500 towards the replacement ,I just wanted to get the job done., she said she would talk to them and call me back . Never called me back . It would just seem to be get the money then ignore the customer ! I feel we were totally mislead by the sales department and they should at least replace the front door outer pane. I shouldnt be paying for their misleading sales person . If we had any idea the front door had a 1 year warranty we would have told them we need a door with the same warranty as the rest of the windows and doors they installed. Needless to say I couldnt in all honesty recommend them to anyone if this is the way they stand behind themselves

My experience with Diego was top notch. He was waiting on my arrival and was so courteous and friendly. He was professional and respectful of our property and did not start without me there. He was there to replace the screen door and made it look brand new within 15 minutes. Thank you Diego!! Such an asset to FHIA🪟

Very professional and to the point in job accomplishment. This team of workers were available for any questions or concerns. When starting the job they came in and completed the job on time. Very clean workers, removed all debris and patched the areas were windows and sliding doors were installed. No complaints. I Highly recommend them.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Highly specialized presentation by Ms. Cavallo. Mr. Amaud, Great job following up, step by step, on all the requirements for the delivery, installation, and inspection. The installation was excellent, providing attention to detail throughout the process. The team effort was excellent, and I do highly recommend FHIA

THEY ARE RUDE ON THE PHONE. They gaslight. They ask a question but they cut me off mid-sentence, repeatedly. I ask for a manager. They ignored me. So, when I became upset and used colorful language they became upset with me. Hypocrisy at its fullest! The Salesperson when I decided to use this company lied to me. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. I paid in full prior to the installation. The Salesperson told me since FHIA wouldn't be using subcontractors or outside suppliers for my work, they would not submit the Construction Lien if I paid in full prior to installation of my hurricane windows and doors. I paid in full days prior to the installation. FHIA still submitted the Construction Lien on my property. Now, I must jump through many hoops to get this rectified. Needless to say, "I'LL NEVER RECOMMEND FHIA TO ANYONE!!!!" Florida State Statutes does not require a Construction Lien if a job is paid in full to the contractor when no subcontractors or outside suppliers will be used on the construction job. STRONG CAUTION: USE ANYONE ELSE!!!
