We love mixing in daycare and daycamp days to give her both playtime and structure. She always comes home happy and tired from all the fun! The grooming services are wonderful too — she looks adorable after every appointment. You can tell the entire team truly loves what they do and cares for each dog like their own. They also have the best pup-to-trainer ratio around, and for the best price — it’s such an incredible value for the level of care they provide. Everything is exceptionally clean, (no odors) and safe! We wouldn’t take our pup anywhere else!

Can I tour your facilities?
Absolutely- We believe in transparency! We offer tours outside of our busy drop off / pickup hours. Typically, tours are available M-F 10am-3pm. Please note that daytime tours are brief and don’t enter any areas that dogs are currently occupying in order to maintain a calm and safe environment.
For a more detailed tour, we invite you to sign up for one of our biweekly open houses! Held every-other week in the evening, this 1 hour tour covers all 3 buildings in our campus, and is your chance to see behind the scenes, ask questions, and meet our staff! Are there rules in daycare?
You bet! Fetch n’ Catch prides itself on being a structured daycare center that reinforces good behavior. While we want all dogs in attendance to have fun, we are careful not to allow off-leash play to become a free-for-all. That is how bad behavior is created, and risk of injury drastically increases. Safety always comes first. If your dog is demonstrating behaviors that are unsafe to themselves or the group, our Canine Coaches will utilize time-outs and redirection to attempt to reduce these behaviors. If no improvement is made over a series of visits, our management or training staff will communicate with the owner to go over our concerns, and determine if daycare is the right program for their dog.
Are young dogs in daycare handled differently than adult dogs?
Yes! Young dogs require very different management and scheduling than mature, adult dogs. Imagine if you allowed a 2 year old child to run around with their friends for 10 hours without a nap. Similarly, young dogs need designated rest time. We follow the 1/3 rule when it comes to young dogs. Their day should consist of 1/3 Play, 1/3 Rest, and 1/3 Engagement with a handler. This schedule fosters healthy and happy puppies, which grow into well-rounded and well-behaved adults!
Are there any requirements for my dog to be able to attend Fetch n’ Catch?
All dogs attending our facility must be current on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, & Bordetella). Fetch n’ Catch must receive proof of vaccination from your veterinarian. Records can be emailed to our office: info@fetchncatch.com
Female dogs must be spayed over 6 months
Male dogs must be neutered over 8 months.
All dogs must be socialized and play well with other dogs.
Because we use crates for rest breaks and time-outs as needed, all dogs must be crate trained.
Dogs must pass a Meet & Greet evaluation in order to participate in daycare.
What is a Meet & Greet?
Because safety is our #1 priority, all dogs are required to undergo a Meet & Greet before attending daycare, boarding, or day school. A Meet & Greet is a chance for us to get to know you and your dog and to simulate what it will be like for them while they are in our care for daycare, boarding, or day school. To keep interactions safe, dogs that attend group play must have adequate social skills, respect each other’s boundaries, and know how to read social cues. If we notice your dog is persistent and not responding to cues from other dogs or verbal cues from the staff, they may be required to practice socializing on a smaller scale prior to attending daycare. Meet & Greets are 30 minutes in duration, and cost $35.00. Upon passing, your dog will receive a free day of dog daycare.
My dog slept for a whole day after he came to daycare. Is that normal?
Yes! Dogs who are new to a daycare environment will be very tired after a day of daycare. We give designated rest time from 4pm-6pm, however a full day of physical and mental stimulation will usually tire even the most energetic dogs.
My dog drank a lot of water when he got home. Do you provide water during the day?
Fresh water is always available to our daycare, day school, and boarding dogs. Even though they may drink while they are here, they can sometimes be thirsty even after arriving home. Similar to a human going to the gym, even though we may drink water while working out, we are usually still thirsty when we get home!
My human child sometimes catches a cold at daycare or school. Can the same thing happen with dogs?
Yes, just like kids at school, there are similar contagious diseases that dogs can pass to one another in a social environment. The most common being “Canine Cough”(Bordetella), a highly contagious upper-respiratory disease that is spread by nose to nose contact with an infected dog. The most common symptom is a hacking cough, and can sometimes be paired with sneezing and nasal discharge. It is very similar to a common cold/flu in humans, treatable and sometimes unavoidable. Usually, Canine Cough is treated with antibiotics and a cough suppressant. Just like the flu vaccine in humans, even if your dog is vaccinated for “Canine Cough” with the Bordetella Vaccine, it may still contract the disease. However, having your dogs vaccinated will help reduce symptoms. All dogs participating in off leash play at Fetch n’ Catch are required to have a yearly Bordetella vaccination. Less common, but still seen in a social canine environment, is the Canine Papilloma Virus (puppy warts). This is very similar to chickenpox in children. It is sometimes spread unavoidably by younger dogs. These warts will most likely be present in the mouth or on the bottom of the paws. CPV itself is not dangerous and warts will generally disappear within 6 weeks, or alternatively they can be crushed/removed by your veterinarian. Regarding both Canine Cough and CPV, contagious dogs are not permitted to our facility until symptoms are no longer present. In addition, to maintain a healthy environment we require all dogs to be on flea, tick, and internal parasite prevention. Yearly fecal exams at your veterinarian are also required.
How do you keep your facility clean?
We have daily cleaning protocols and procedures that are second to none. We clean our floors, walls, and overnight suites using veterinary grade disinfectant. Our floors are vacuumed daily and deep-cleaned with a walk-behind auto scrubber. Outside, our play yards are also fully sanitized daily with veterinary grade disinfectant. While cleaning practices won’t necessarily prevent bacteria/viruses that are passed nose-nose, maintaining a clean facility is a top priority.
What happens if my dog is at daycare and I cannot return in time to pick him up?
Unexpected circumstances such as blizzards, family emergencies, car troubles, etc., can make it impossible to pick up your dog from daycare or day school in time. Should this occur, you may arrange for a friend or family member to pick up your dog. Please call our office ahead of time to let us know, as we will not release your dog to a stranger without permission from you. If the above solution is not an option, and you are unable to pick up before our office closes, your dog will automatically be boarded overnight. We offer overnight boarding 7 days a week, and stock a variety of food options and are happy to accommodate!
Since you are staffed 24 hours a day, why can’t I pick up my dog after you close?
At closing time, the manager on duty will secure the facility by locking all doors and activating our alarm system. After this time, staff are not permitted to open the front door for any reason. This ensures the safety of our overnight guests and staff, which is our top priority.
Can my dog say ‘Hi’ to other dogs in the lobby?
No. Meeting your dog with other dogs on leash can be stressful for both dogs, as face to face meetings are unnatural. Having leashes/collars become entangled is a serious safety concern as well. In addition, not all dogs that come to Fetch n’ Catch are here to socialize. Some may be here for grooming, training, etc., and may not be dog friendly.
Why do you ask my dog to sit before he goes through the gate?
Maintaining self-control is an important quality for all dogs to exhibit. Sitting at the gate allows for the handler to regain your dog’s focus and attention during a very exciting time of the day.
What are Peak Dates?
Just like airlines, human hotels, and rental car companies, demand for our boarding services increases dramatically on certain days of the year. These include holidays, school breaks, and weekends in July & August. On these dates, a $5 Peak Date charge applies per dog, per night. Our staff work 24/7 on holidays, and this charge allows us to pay double-time, or time-and-a-half, on over 20 days per year.
