Visited Ferrari-Carano for the first time with friends - I've been wanting to make it out to Healdsburg for ages and this was the perfect excuse. We booked the Pranzo Della Casa and it was such a refreshing change from a typical tasting with little (or no) food. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and the wine pairings were excellent - I would definitely want to return for this experience alone! The property itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. We weren't able to explore the grounds fully due to a private event taking place that day, but even just the building and front gardens were picture-perfect. The staff were also very accommodating with a few last-minute, unplanned requests, which we really appreciated and will definitely remember when planning a return trip. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a step above the standard tasting - a beautiful setting, gracious staff, and a memorable food-and-wine experience.

We visited for the Pergola Wine Tasting experience, which includes a 4-course meal with paired wines for each. It was fantastic! Starting with a tour of the veggie garden, our personal host Victor was wonderfully knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. Everyone there is focused on personal service and really knows their stuff. The setting could not be more beautiful, from the Italian villa to the views and shade garden. And the wines and food were so tasty! Would definitely recommend.

We stopped here because we saw the sign that said walk-in’s welcome. We couldn’t wait to see the grounds, wine taste, and have some food pairings with our wine. The grounds were spectacular. When we walked in we were greeted by a gentleman who came across a bit rude. He told us he could not do anything for us and that they did not have any food. As we went into the shop area, we witnessed a staff member bringing out food for guests. We started to leave and another gentleman offered us a glass of wine for tasting, but no place to sit because they had an unexpected crowd of people show up (who they accommodated). We left, passing tables that had food and drink. Not really a place that I would want to go to again. Silver Oak winery gets my vote for kindness and hospitality.

Without a doubt, the most beautiful winery we have been to so far. Each and every corner of the estate is well manicured. Spend some time to stop and smell the flowers, appreciate the architecture and the beauty of the vines. While you are at it, enjoy the Pinot Grigio!
