Firstly, the quality of the stuff offered is exceptional. I have no doubts on craftsmanship and durability through usage. The star rating is based upon continuity and follow-up.
If you don't have an appointment--during the impossible hours of the actual workday--you will not even be looked at. It's almost as if you're being proactively avoided.
There needs to be a change. I understand 2-3 people ought to be able to assist all customers in a scheduled circumstance. There's a trade-off when you have issues with your existing order, missing items, etc. I've called for three-four days straight as I get opportunity. 4pm this shop shuts and it's already challenging to be able to get there, let alone call during a busy workday.
We placed a large order in February for a complete bathroom gut and remodel. We not only had missing items on our order; however, we cannot get in touch with a sales rep or someone to physically refund or help.
As I type this, I'm currently on hold for the last 30 minutes waiting for an answer on how to get a refund even for parts that were said to have been delivered but were actually on backorder. We were not informed by any capacity on this either. It took us completing part of this project to do find out we were missing it.
We were going to get our countertop through them and are being forced to switch.
The rep we dealt with was nice at first and pretty helpful, until he wasn't helpful almost at all. He's late to answer emails and realistically non-existent. Now the last few weeks, I understand due to the messages I saw from the outbox. But prior to this; we had no heads up on backorders or any sort of assistance.
Now this would all be manageable and kind of expected in a project with timeline set backs, etc. The challenge is there is no walking in and dealing with the issue. It's a scheduled event.
Again, I'm quite happy to discuss this openly with management and leadership if requested but it's not a great reflection on the Ferguson Brand. My family has been customers for many projects and years and it's looking like there is virtually no reason to be any longer.
To finalize, if you have a scheduled appointment to pick out a toilet or sink, you're going to have a different experience than we did. If it's a larger project, many pieces, etc, consider my experience and a few others above.

Guy at the counter is really rude
My wife and I had a bad experience here.
Guy at the counter made it impossible to get something replaced that was under warranty. According to him “NOTHING IS UNDER WARRANTY “.
We Went to the Piscataway location and had a completely different experience. They were able to process for a replacement unit ,no problem. lo and behold they said “ your water heater is cover here’s your new $1000 unit completely covered under the warranty”.

Costumer service is terrible, and be prepair to paid alot of money for the materials. You can find some stuff if u dont have time to go to HD but not alot of stuff...
