- MMMrTenncOct 26, 20235.0Fergusen Supply is a nationwide supplier of construction and repair materials, and accordingly most of their business is large transactions with other businesses. So, I did not expect priority treatment when I went to their Cleveland location to try to obtain parts for my 20-year-old kitchen sink faucet. However, the gentleman on the counter took the time to try to find my needed parts in their computer system, but the information was not there. He said he would contact the manufacturer to find the information needed to order the parts and asked for my contact information. As I left, I thought “sure”. A few days later I received a call from Fergusen asking for my address so the manufacturer could mail me the parts free of charge as the faucet had a lifetime guarantee. I received the parts, and my faucet works like new. This is a good thing, but the better thing is the customer service the Fergusen people provided.

I tried to buy a few plumbing supplies at the Cleveland Ferguson store last year (2020). It took about an hour and a half due to computer difficulties, but I waited. Finally, I completed a form to obtain a part that was not on hand. On that form, I provided my email address. That turned out to be a mistake. Soon, I started receiving invoices for dozens of Ferguson customers throughout the country. Up to 20 a day. There was no way to opt out of these emails, and my attempts to get Ferguson's corporate headquarters to remove my email address from their database were not complied with. To this day, I continue to have my email inbox filled with unwanted email from Ferguson. This company is slow and inefficient on the local level, and incompetent and uncaring at the national headquarters level.
