Love the self-wash dog station! It was clean and had everything I needed. I took a bit longer than 30 minutes and the worker was very kind about it. I am getting married this weekend and my pup is in the wedding, so I needed her nice and clean! Also, Avery (the store cat) is wonderful.
My dog has been bathed by Brittney W. the groomer here at Feeders in Madison. My dog still feels nice and soft even weeks after! She did so good with my dog, you can tell when someone handles your baby with care because my dog Jake did not want to leave and is so happy to get a bath every time we walk into the store just to get lots of love from her.

During my first visit to their store at 6:38 PM, the guy said, 'Sorry, you can’t wash your pet now; we just closed the pet wash!' Their website states that it closes at 8 PM.

I had been to this groomer before and had a wonderful experience with my previous groomer, who was so kind and attentive to my dog’s needs. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a completely different story and very disappointing.
This time, I was assigned to a new groomer. When I went to check out, the price was double what I had booked online. When I asked for clarification, the groomer told me, “I’m better than the previous groomer, this is my price.” That response was unprofessional and dismissive, and the listed prices online clearly do not reflect what customers are actually charged. One of the reasons given for the higher cost was that my dog supposedly took longer than usual to groom — yet I had booked a three-hour appointment, and she was finished in just two hours. Even after speaking with multiple employees, including the manager, no one offered a real explanation or resolution.
Before the appointment, I mentioned to the groomer that my dog had some slight matting behind her ears, but it wasn’t bad and I specifically asked for her coat to be kept as long as possible. Instead, she was shaved completely down to the skin. My dog is almost 4 years old and has only ever been shaved like this once before. I expressed my concern to the manager, explaining that this is the worst she has ever looked after a grooming appointment, and also the most I have ever paid, despite not even adding on half the extras I usually select. It felt as though the groomer didn’t want to take the time to brush her out and instead chose the quickest option of shaving her fully down.
At the end of the day, it wasn’t about how much I paid. It was the lack of professionalism, the unwillingness to make the situation right, and the disregard for both my concerns and my dog’s care.
This was our 2nd time here and I just want to say Thank you! We had an awsome experience with the groomer washing our fur babies. Now our 2nd visit was for a full groom. Again we say the groomer (Brittney) knows what she is doing. Other places make our fur baby look choppy. Not here, we highly recommend. Also the store is clean and the staff is friendly. We will be back and we will tell our friends/family.
