I booked a grooming appointment a month in advance and received several confirmations. Upon arrival we were told that the groomer was not in today. The manager proceeded to blame me for making an online appointment with FEEDERS SUPPLY. No apologies and when I questioned her more she became defensive and said “your dog is not getting groomed today”. No apologies. I could have went anywhere to get this done and unfortunately chose Feeders Supply. The manager never offered any solution or resolution just blame. It is not right to treat your customers this way who keep you in business.
Yesterday ,we witnessed a truly unfortunate act of descrimination at a pet store . A latino child , full of excitement to take his new pet Home , was publicly humillated and denied the sale for no valid reason other than his background , no one should ever be treated this way especially not a child , acta like this are not only infair , they also leave lasting emotional sacars , descrimination has no place in our society , and we cannot remain silent when things like this happen . We demand respect , equality , and real action to make sure situations like this are never repaeated , I still remember the sad look on the boy’s face , without his Pet and with the pain of being treated with contempt

had a very unpleasant experience at this store. I went to buy a hamster and at first, they asked me for a picture of the cage. Then, they said a picture was not enough and that I had to bring the cage in person. I went back home, brought the cage, and even then they told me that although they sell hamsters, they would not sell one to me. It was a waste of time and very unprofessional.
I also believe there was discrimination because we do not speak English fluently. This is unacceptable in a business that serves the public. I do not recommend this place at all.
I want to express my deep conocern about the descriminatori treatment a latino child experienced at this place . This was a clear act of descrimination that should never happen in any envioronment . Everyone deserves respect and dignity , regardless of their background . I hope the magnament takes serious action to adress this situation and provides proper training on inclusion and respect to their staff , i do not recommend this place until real and meagninful change are made , at the store , they told the boy to go get his cage so they could see where the hamster was going to live . The boy happily went home to get the cage , thinking he was finally going to have his pet . But when he returned , they store emoloyees told him to wait a minute , wich turned into and hour . Wey he finally asked if they were going to sell him the hamster , they told him they told him they wouldn't sell it to im , he's a 9 years old boy ,not a criminal . He's child with dreams and aspirations , and they made him feel bad , on top of that , the employees started lying ,saying that he wanted to keep the animal outside , which wasn't true , besides being racist , they were dishonest . I've been to many pet stores in lexington where i've always received the best impression and excellent treatment , but at this impression and excellent treatment , but at this one , i withnessed racism and a lack of proffesional ethics toward a child whit latino roots

“This store is a very unwelcoming place. I have visited twice to purchase animals, and both times the manager and employees refused to sell to me simply because I am Latino. Their behavior was discriminatory and disrespectful. No family should have to experience this treatment when looking for a pet for their children. I strongly advise others to avoid this store.”
