Who do I contact for issues regarding cash-back transactions?
If you asked for cash back and did not receive it, or were charged for cash back and did not ask for it, please contact our Asset Protection department.
I have a duplicate charge on my credit/debit/EBT card for the same transaction. How can I resolve the issue?
Duplicate authorizations should drop off automatically within three business days. If it has been more than three business days, please fill out a customer help form and send us additional information explaining your request.
Why did my card get declined when I know I have money in my account?
Please contact your financial institution for more information as Dollar Tree does not receive detailed information when transactions are not approved.
I have a separate fee on my account for using my card at your store. Why am I being charged this fee?
Dollar Tree does not impose a surcharge on credit or debit card purchase transactions. If you are being charged a separate fee, please contact your financial institution for more information.
I used the wrong card and want to switch my sale to a different card. Can I do this?
No; unfortunately, once a sale is completed, we cannot change it.
Why am I charged a $1.00 fee to get cash back on my debit transaction?
We do charge a $1.00 surcharge for cash-back transactions only. This surcharge must be approved at the point of sale by the customer before the transaction is completed.
I selected EBT cash benefits when I meant to use my EBT food benefits. Can I switch the sale?
No; unfortunately, once a sale is completed, we cannot change it.

How do I obtain a duplicate copy of my store receipt?
Your request for a duplicate copy of your receipt MUST meet the following criteria:
- Your transaction was paid for with a credit, debit, or EBT card.
- Your purchase amount was $5.00 or more.
If your request meets these requirements, please submit a customer help form for further assistance. Please allow 5 business days for your receipt request to be processed.
Please note, we are unable to provide duplicate copies of the receipt if you paid by cash, your purchase was less than $5.00, or your purchase was made more than three (3) months ago. There are no exceptions to this policy.

A product review is you telling other customers what you think about a specific Dollar Tree product. It gives you the opportunity to provide feedback and share personal experiences with, and creative uses for, the product. When reviewing a product, you’ll give it an overall rating based on a 1 to 5 star rating system, with 5 being the most favorable, and can also rate it based on its price and value. Your product reviews are helpful for other customers trying to determine which products best suit their needs.
How do I write/submit a product review?
First, search DollarTree.com to find the product you wish to review. Once you find your product, simply click “Write a Review” in the shaded ratings box under the product name (if the product has not yet been reviewed, it will say “Be the first to Write a Review”) and you will be directed to the Sign-In page. If you have not previously registered on DollarTree.com, you will need to complete the “Create an Account“ section prior to writing the review.
Once you are signed in, you will be directed to the “Write a Review” page to complete and submit your review.
How do I find product reviews for a particular item I´m interested in?
Search DollarTree.com for a particular SKU number, name, or keyword to find the product that you wish to research. If the product has been reviewed by other customers, you will see the average number of stars assigned, followed by the number of reviews submitted. Click "Read All # Reviews" which will take you to that product´s customer reviews at the bottom of the product page. Here you will find a Ratings and Reviews Summary, followed by individual customer reviews for that product. For each posted review you will see the question "Was this review helpful to you?" DollarTree.com would appreciate you letting us know with a quick click on the thumbs up or down icon. At this point, you will also see a link to report any review content you feel may be inappropriate.
Why can’t I find a product review that I submitted?
Product reviews submitted on DollarTree.com will be screened prior to posting to ensure they comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use. Approved ratings & reviews are posted to the site within 72 hours.
