    Clothing options are great and the clearance section is huge! However, one of the clearance items I bought didn’t have a tag and when I gave the cashier one with a tag, she put that in my bag instead of the original. I hadn’t noticed the mix up since I was paying. When I discovered it, it was far to late as I live an hour out of Concord and I couldn’t come and exchange it the same day. I came back the following Monday (purchased on Saturday) and was informed I couldn’t return it. When I told the associate about the mix up, she still told me she couldn’t return it and nothing else. She didn’t offer to get a manager nor explain the return policy to me (I had to read it on the receipt instead). This wouldn’t be a big deal if the size I had could fit me but, I originally wanted the XL and was given the small. I’m a big girl! It felt like the cashier didn’t care about this and was talking to another associate while returning my other items. Please make sure you double check what you are buying is correct before you exit this store. It was human error but, now I’m stuck with a piece I can’t wear. Also note you can’t return clearance mark .97 and below.

We will accept returns and exchanges for items purchased in our Express Factory Outlet stores based on the following requirements. We will not accept a return or exchange if requested more than 30 days after the purchase. We will also not accept returns and exchanges that were purchased in Express or Express Men stores or online. Some items have a “Do Not Remove” tag or a “Keep This Tag Attached” tag, which must still be attached to the item in order to request a refund or exchange. Please decide if you are completely satisfied with your item before you remove such a tag.
